High Desert Dental

It has been a great experience with High Desert Dental. Dr. Oz and his staff have been awesome; they are very professional, friendly and accommodating. I went to seek information on dental implants, and Dr. Oz was very patient and thorough in explaining the process to me. He was very open and honest about the process and procedures. He put my mind at ease as I am not a fan, as I’m sure no one else is, of extractions. The extractions and implants went well, and the healing process went well. I still have a ways to go before the whole process is complete, but I’m confident it will all turn out well, and I look forward to the end results. I highly recommend High Desert Dental and Dr. Oz and his staff to anyone seeking any type of dental service; they are awesome!

I was looking for an oral surgeon for implants where two molars had been extracted . Dr. Oz listened, asked questions and got the whole picture of what is going on. He even read my intake form and took time to understand my history. Price is plenty good, given the cost of dental work. The financial person was amiable and knowledgable. The case manager was thorough. And the best part was the friendly and caring atmosphere of the staff. They seemed to enjoy each other, and their work. Five stars for everything other than the artwork in the bathroom. Don't hesitate... they are great.

I like this place! Dr. Martinez and Hannah were both absolutely wonderful and went the extra mile that many do not. They were both friendly, knowledgeable, and gentle. Best of all though, I wasn't in the waiting room for more than 10 min (probably less than that) and I was home within an hour of my appointment starting.

I've been going there for half a year and have had nothing but a positive experience. However, my last appointment was probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a dentist's office, hence my post today. I was having a crown put in that was supposed to be at no cost because of the insurance. Once the procedure began, the dentist's office seemed to be operating chaotically, and everybody seemed to be in a rush. About halfway through the process, the dentist told me they would have to shift from a crown to a root canal and walked out of the room. One of the assistants came in and told me that it would cost an additional $700 for them to finish the dental work that day. So there I'm, sitting with half of my tooth missing and deciding between incomplete dental work or being out $700 on the spot. I understand things can change during a complex proceeding. However, customers should be informed of all prices before dental work starts, so if something changes halfway through, we already know what the cost will be. It felt like I was extorted for them to complete the dental work.

As always, the "routine" visit was smooth, professional and very pleasant. Dan has cleaned my teeth for some time and I'm delighted that scheduling permits me to count on his availability. Dr. Oz is professional and explains reports and recommended procedures thoroughly and clearly. Anticipated costs are always communicated in advance. I do appreciate the quality service and the care shown by all personnel. Thank you.

Three office greeted me professionally and the hygienist was super gentle! Hannah, thanks for the wonderful experience. The Doctor explained my options and made recommendations- spoke in a way I could understand. I felt welcomed to the office as a new patient.

I was in town for the Holidays, and one of my wisdom teeth had a cavity and was chipped. I had it scheduled to be removed when I got back home, but while on vacation it became an unbearable pain. I searched online for an emergency dental appointment and came across High Desert Dental. I called around 10PM and got a text response immediately. He set an appointment for the next morning at 10 AM. I showed up and the whole staff was super friendly & helpful. Dr. Ozzie Rodas Ended up doing the tooth extraction and it was super quick & painless. Even after the numbing wore off, the pain was gone! Thank you all & have a wonderful Holiday!!

Hannah and Dr. Martinez were so patient, thorough and customer friendly. As a new patient, I have never received such detailed explanations of my dental needs and options for treatment anywhere else. The quality of services were outstanding. Thank you.

My visit recently to High Desert Dental went extremely well. I entered the facility for my appointment and was immediately greeted with a positive greeting and prompt check in.
Wait time was minimal, l was greeted with a warm welcome by the staff member that was to do my teeth cleaning which was done thoroughly and promptly.
Dr Rodas then reviewed x-rays with me and pointed out action needed to address problem areas indicating priorities for addressing problems.
Checkout was prompt and courteous.
All in all great facility and professional staff. One of my best visits to a dentist.

This spot was incredible! The professionalism was above and beyond. I can’t imagine going anywhere else to took good care of me. And they made sure I understood my dental and hygiene remedies and how to make them better to improve my beautiful smile.
