Edit 3: once again Jennifer was very great I always love it here because the seats have warmers and massagers and they give me blankets. Would recommend

Dr. Gilbert is highly skilled, knowledgeable, super friendly, and is always sure to keep me informed of what he is doing, going to do, or recommends. From routine cleanings to major dental work, he and his team do an outstanding job every time. Every single person in the office is very friendly and helpful, and I can't recommend them enough. I actually look forward to my visits!

I am a 66 year older person who has been blessed with very weak teeth. Needless to say, no matter how well I have tried to care for my teeth they have continued to fail over the years. I can’t even say how many fillings, root canals or crowns that I have had done and ended up having them extracted anyway. For me dentists can be quite intimidating!
When I arrived at Bright Star Dental a few weeks ago with an unbearable abscessed tooth, I was desperate. Being new to NM, I didn’t know a dentist and had no one to give me a referral. After calling around early on a Monday morning, I was referred to Bright Star by another Dental office who said that they couldn’t accept my insurance because it was a Medicare supplemental plan.
After a brief conversation with one of Bright Star’s very kind receptionists, I was assured that my insurance would be accepted and I was sitting in the Dentist chair within the hour. Jennifer very gently examined me and gave me X-rays being careful to not cause me unnecessary pain. She was very professional and pleasant.
Chyanne, who had handled my financial business was also very helpful and kind. She assisted me in payment planning and insurance questions.
When I returned a couple of weeks later to have my tooth extraction and post implant, I was attended by Faith who was very sweet and also did a super job!
Faith made me feel comfortable and calm while preparing for my surgical procedure.
Dr Gilbert was able to do the procedure without causing me any discomfort. I experienced no bruising or swelling after the procedure and my jaw wasn’t sore like in past experiences with other dentists. His gentle technique is awesome!
For anyone looking for a great dental experience, I highly recommend Bright Star! Of all the dental work I have had in the past, this was by far the most pleasant I have experienced. Everyone who works there is professional, kind and gentle and I will continue to use them as long as I live in the area!

My visit with Dr Gilbert was amazing. His staff made me feel very comfortable and was very friendly. He was able to see me that day for my emergency visit and fix what was wrong with my tooth. Andy was very helpful and assisted me in scheduling an appointment for a cleaning.

Oh my what a wonderful and pleasant experience I had at bright star dental, upon entering I felt complete relaxation, the office felt so calm and peaceful.
My hygienist Andrea was very knowledgeable and kind. Not to mention Dr. Gilbert very nice and lovely. 10/10 highly recommend
