Most excellent dentist ever. Where has this man been all my life? Very efficient and well-run practice.

Dr. Sudimack ground down the bottom of my two front teeth without asking my permission. For the 1st time in my life I’m having cold sensitivities in those teeth. I called and told the office. They wanted me to come in. I have to drive 4 hours round trip to get there. I asked that he call me to tell me what the possible options COULD be before I drive all that way. He hasn’t bothered to call me.
It’s the least he can do since I didn’t ask for—or agree to—the procedure shortening my front teeth. I think he ground too much off. I don’t like how it looks. And I’m left with a problem now.

tl; dr -- Dr. Sudimack and his team run the best dental office I've gone to in three states over five decades of dental care.

UPDATE:

On Visit #3, I received more of the same top-tier professional dental care. The space for my crown was digitally measured very carefully, and the tooth was milled in-office--which was exciting to see! Two hours from walking in to walking out with a brand new fitted crown that's going to last. The best of 21st century dental technology combined with people who give their best as people and dental professionals every day. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

On visit #2 for the root canal-plus-crown, I had a panic attack from anxiety. I knew I was safe, but the fear came back. They took care of me amazingly well, got me calm. I felt zero pain at all during the root canal procedure, which was amazing. Caring staff as ever, professional front office, and wonderful environment.

Dr. Sudimack and his team run the best dental office I've gone to in three states over five decades of dental care.

To begin I am terrified of dentists after a lifetime of inappropriate shaming, insufficient pain management, and mediocre dental work. My last visit to fix a filling required a pre-appointment prescription which didn't cut through the anxiety then terror because of insufficient novocaine (a regular occurrence for me) and being told I was wrong. I nearly bit down on the drill at that visit trying to hold my mouth open myself.

My visit to Dental Associates began as an emergency call. When I walked in, my intake paperwork was on my phone as a completed PDF, and they had me email it for them to print instead of make me fill out a new set in the office. I sat in the office listening to punk pop music (which I like) and waited, expecting to wait most of the morning. I didn't have to wait long.

I was settled in, and my teeth were imaged. When I learned what I suspected, I started to panic and was in tears because I finally had to have a root canal--a procedure I'd been told was agony. Dr. Sudimack and his staff were empathetic and kind as the procedure was explained in detail. They never shamed my fear, never dismissed my anxiety.

After the few pinches from the injection (which I'm not afraid of) and a mouth block (to comfortably help me hold open my mouth during the procedure, a new experience for me) I didn't feel a thing during the procedure. Nothing. Not pressure. Not pain. I heard it but didn't feel it at all.

And when I cried tears of happiness, Dr. Sudimack was worried at first then happy to have helped me. While I still have more procedures, I'm not afraid for Dental Associates to do them.

(Plus . . . pups! Out the window of the examination room is a doggy day care for the amazing staff.)

Dr Sudimack performed another great job installing a crown on my aged and cracked tooth. He is a very personable guy and is great at his job. Vanessa is a rock star and I am very pleased with the outcome. Thank you!

My first experience with Dr. Sudimack came after I broke off part of my back molar around Christmas 2022. I wasn't his patient yet, but he was able to get me in very quickly. He was very thorough and gentle and even though he had squeezed me in, I never felt like he was rushed. He has since corrected issues that my previous dentist had said 'You're just going to have to live with it...' with amazing results, I might add! I live in Alamogordo (70 miles away) and had had a bad experience (plus spent a lot of money) at the local dentist with disappointing results, but I gladly drive to his office in Las Cruces. His chair-side demeanor makes me feel like I'm visiting a friend and his staff are always extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Sudimack and have referred all of my friends and family to his office! I just wish I had found him sooner! Plus being able to watch the pups in the play yard outside the window of his office is the icing on the cake!
