Very happy with the service At Sonoma Family Dental!

I had a tooth that needed extraction. My former dentist said he couldn't do it cuz the root tips were fused together...I'd have to go to Alb. I went to Sonoma Dental for a 2nd opinion; the dentist looked at the x-ray, said " no prob" and 15 painless min later, I was done. Dr. Ellis is the best! He is so nice and SO capable. The staff is clearly VERY happy to be working there. That, to me, says it all. I sent my grandparents to him. They adore him...(they r cranky customers)!

When I first saw the folks at Sonoma, it was for a sort of emergency. I was very dental phobic, hence a mouthful of problems. After my first appointment, Dr. Akopyan and I were thrown together. Dr. helped me get over my phobias. I required a lot of work prior to the fitting of dentures. I got used to needles, one of my greatest fears, and learned to relax in the chair.
To this day, I'm still fine with dentists, at least with Dr. Akopyan. In fact, I saw him just today for a bone spur problem. We did everything we could, given my current regime of blood thinners. The problem is cured enough right now. In a month, the blood thinners will be done and we can do a little more shaping of the bone spur.
I've had positive experiences with everyone I've encountered at Sonoma. A very caring, friendly, welcoming staff.
Stop in and see them if you need a dentist. Tell them I sent you. I think you'll be pleased.

My appointment went well and everyone I came into contact with was friendly, on time, and very professional. The office was clean and my overall experience was very nice!!

Team was amazing with my high anxiety they made me feel so comfortable and they where extremely clean and organized thank you all so much for making this experience easy and calm. You guys are rockstar if I could give them a 10 star I would definitely recommend this dentist.

Dr. Ellis has been taking care of me and today I went in for what is supposed to be a nightmare procedure (root canal). My experience started with the front desk recognizing me and addressing me by name, apologizing because they were running 5 minutes late, and then quickly taking me back! Dr. Ellis asked if I had any concerns and then asked what I would like to watch on the TV while he worked on me. I left later after the procedure feeling like I was the only patient he had. He is ridiculously careful, thorough and kind. What a pleasant surprise!!

The dentist here, as well as the office personnel and dentist assistants, are very concern about you as a person. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend this dentistry group to anyone seeking a good dentist.

I have been a lot of dentists, but this one by far surpasses the rest. I have only been to 1 other that makes me comfortable and assured that the procedures and cleanings will go smoothly. I highly recommend this practice!

I was referred to this office with my private insurance. I had a dental emergency and she didn't even want to call the local office to verify reimbursement of services. It's actually a very good dental reimbursement that would pay 100% of exams and xrays. But she just stated they did not when I know they have accepted it before. She could have at least tried to call the number I was giving her. It's a local office and she gets someone right away but dismissed me. It was disappointing
