If you are looking to get veneers, crowns and or a complete smile makeover look no further. Dr. Ilyasapozhnik is hands down one of the best cosmetic dentists you will find. He’s extremely
talented, meticulous and has an artistic vision. That’s what you should look for when searching for a true cosmetic dentist. He placed a combo of ten veneers and crowns on me and I’m beyond thrilled with the natural looking results. Dr. Ilyasapozhnik and his staff are very kind, compassionate and made me feel at ease!

This is the first time I have written a review for anyone, but it is beyond deserving.

After TWO (2) dentists, with stellar credentials and 40+ years of combined experience, destroyed my smile, I conducted a thorough search for a dentist who could deliver a natural cleaner looking, brighter and broader smile.

After consulting with SIX (6) "renowned" dentists, I opted to go with Dr. Sapozhnik. He checked ALL the boxes for a complicated case, these include:

*Knowledgable;
*Detailed-Oriented;
*Accessible;
*Listened to my concerns and my desired outcome;
*Caring, Humble, and charismatic;
*Clean Office--especially by taking every precaution during COVID-19,
*Up-to-date Equipment,
*Excellent Staff (The entire practice is professional, courteous, and friendly--they genuinely make you feel you are their top priority); and,
*Extremely reasonable rates.

Dr. Sapozhnik took the challenge of replacing two (2) crowns, placing six (6) porcelain veneers, along with whitening and laser gum recontouring to broaden and brighten my entire smile. His work added harmony to the aesthetics of my smile. He understood that the teeth' size, even if this was fractions of millimeters, impacted the face's entire flow. The previous crowns had a poor fit, which distorted my speech and confidence! Not only did he do a stellar job on my treatment, but be he also went above and beyond to ensure the functionality of my bite was perfect.

Dr. Sapozhnik's work's quality is exceptional, and his impressive ability to undertake and flawlessly deliver perfection confirmed that he is one of the best in today's competitive dentistry cosmetic environment!

Dr.Sapozhnik and his team are absolute pros at what they do. I was born without two front teeth and Dr.Sapozhnik's work was so exceptionally well done I almost I was born without those teeth as well. I'd recommend Dr.Sapozhnik so anyone needing dental surgery, he is one of the best!!!

I am not a fan of dentists until I met Dr. Sapozhnik. His professional approach definitely helped me feel calm and comfortable. He takes his time and explains everything. His staff is sweet and makes you feel like family. I have a new dentist.

I am writing this review on behalf of my father-in-law, as my husband and I have witnessed the pain and frustration first-hand and felt the need to share his experience to warn others. My father-in-law went in for a regular cleaning, and the dentist took it upon himself to perform a deep clean instead which is much more invasive. Being a senior citizen, my father-in-law was expecting a bit more gentleness and care, and he was concerned with how painful the procedure was, compared to his usual cleaning he's gotten elsewhere. After the procedure he realized that his bite was uneven. Something had been shifted during the deep cleaning and caused a tooth to become displaced, which was painful and frustrating. For months, he was unable to eat without pain, he had severe headaches, he couldn't sleep properly, and even his speech was effected. This was all from just wanting to get a routine cleaning. He went back multiple times to try and have the dentist fix it, and he was unsuccessful. Instead, my father-in-law had to find another dentist who ended up having to extract the tooth, which was an expensive procedure his insurance wouldn't cover, so he had to pay this out of pocket. Had he just gotten the regular cleaning he asked for, he would have never had this tooth pulled.

We cannot help but believe this dentist was pursuing a more costly procedure to bill the insurance company for, which resulted in my father-in-law spending months in discomfort, and physical and mental pain. This dentist is located in the neighborhood of a senior living community as well as a nursing home, so I hope that he learns from this and does not put another senior through an unnecessarily invasive procedure just to gain more money.

EDIT: As you can see the dentist has replied, understandably. I will state that my FIL does not, did not, nor has ever had "severe periodontal disease", but I guess that's neither here nor there. Clearly this dentist has lots of wonderful reviews and I don't dispute that he's probably done a great job for a lot of his patients. The only reason I shared this story was to caution other seniors (who may not have an advocate for them) to just be aware and speak up for themselves if they're uncomfortable.

First visit but could not be more pleased. Everything clean, friendly, pain -free so far and not trying to take me to the cleaners! I appreciate their being understanding of cost concerns. Am sure this will be my new dental go-to!

I can not say enough about Dr. Sapozhnik and his staff!!! 6 years ago I was new to Westchester and was nervous about changing from my Long Island dentist, so I took a chance by responding to the postcard I received. Everyone is so caring and professional especially Dr Sapozhnik. Aside from the great work you will always feel and are in Good Hands!! I highly recommend this place. :-)
