Forever Smiles - Dr. Avraham Rambod, Dentist in Flushing

I have been coming to Dr. Rambod for years. He is very gentle, and does an excellent job explaining the details of my treatment and what is urgent to take care of vs. what to “wait and watch.” Although my insurance only covers part of the cost for fillings, it is worth it to have such an experienced, professional dentist in a calm environment!

Dr. Rambod is a fantastic individual. He has patience, is very calm and has a gentle hand. He always explains what he is about to do. His team and himself work with you and know the hardship financial that teeth can be. He has fixed damage from other dentist and is a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend him.

I was very scared for my wisdom teeth extraction at first but the doctor is very nice and friendly. It felt like he was taking care of his own family members. I didn’t even realize when he was done with my procedure. I genuinely recommend this place to visit if you are facing problem like me. Always a pleasure at Dr.Rambod’s office. I got my braces done by him and could not be any happier with the results! Highly recommend! Aside from orthodontics Dr. Rambod does excellent work when it comes to wisdom teeth extractions. He is calm, caring, works gently, and has lots of patience. My extraction wasn’t nearly as bad as I imagined it to be. Best service out there.

BEWARE FUTURE EMPLOYEES.

This doctor tries to pocket 25% of your check, which is 100% ILLEGAL..he also stated he does this to everyone. The biggest liar I’ve ever had the unfortunate experience of working with - He couldn’t even look me in the face, while trying to stay with 25% of my check. Furthermore, he lies to patients, starts work without speaking financials or while the patient is sitting with their mouth open, so as a front desk you’re put in a awkward position time & time again charging people for things they didn’t know they were paying for like some kind of scammer to his own community - While he runs away and hides behind the door listening, because he knows he’s not doing the RIGHT THING. This happened more than 6 times while being employed here for 2 weeks. Never in 8 years did I work with a DR who did this. No bed side manner, just money hungry in all the wrong ways. He speaks to patients HORRIFIC when they don’t have the money.. starts telling them “ when I go to the car dealer and they said 20,000 but I have to pay 50,000.. then that’s what I have to pay” , when he Has NO understanding of insurance but will tells people what ever is convenient for him. This practice is unethical & unprofessional, I can go on and on, but I’ll leave it here.

If I can give this oral surgeon Dr. Avraham a ZERO I WOULD. Unprofessional. LIARS.
WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU. I called before arriving, they stated that they take my insurance . (I sent over an email of my insurance card.) After that I arrived and was greeted by the receptionist and seated in the room awaiting the oral surgeon. I was advised there will be a charge for seeing the doctor (40$) and x ray (60$) . Total of around 100$ . NO PROBLEM.

After that. Dr. Avraham than advised me to get a 360 scan of my teeth and jaw to see my nerves.
No problem . (Does not tell me price ! )

AFTER THAT . Dr. Avraham comes back into the room and says to me it was cost $1250 for the wisdom tooth extraction.
I was completely shocked and asked why was my insurance wasn’t covering it.

Wow what a way to speak to a customer. I have blue cross blue shield PPO plan . (A great insurance btw !!) . So after that I remained calm after having them WASTE MY TIME and SCAM ME .

Negotiate on the price of my procedure. Dr. Avraham Than offered me 850$ For the procedure. Advising me that he’ll cover the. X-ray and doctor visit. “You’re already here, let’s get you out of pain. “

SPEAKING VERY FAST , AVOIDING ALL KINDS OF EYE CONTACT. (You can smell the dishonesty in the air) I kindly decline as to I’ll just find another oral surgeon.
Dr. Avraham Than advises the receptionist to charge me 230$ for the visit and the x ray out of pocket. If I knew that the procedure would be $1250 I would of kindly declined the X-ray as well. (Why would I pay for it when I can just go to another oral surgeon that accepts my insurance.)
Now I completely wasted my time, still in pain and booked another appointment with a oral surgeon on ZOC DOC . Stay away from these LIARS AND SCAMMERS .

Also they advised me that they NEED my social after I declined on putting it on the form. As to I have insurance and the insurance company has it.

I can see now …. They wanted my social Sercuity number so they can make sure I pay. If I do not they will post a collection. Real smart scam Artist.

a couple of years ago he had two women work on my braces. They were very mean and aggressive, they treated me as if I was 12yrs old. Thank god I was wearing glasses this should give you an idea of the danger that I was subjected to. You give him all the money up front and he acts like he is doing you a favor. His wife is part of the unethical behavior.

Very upset this man ripped me off charged me 1500$ for a tooth extraction he started off saying he could do a rootcanal and he knew it couldn't be done so he did it to rip me off. And then after he extracted My tooth still charged another 250$ for catscan I would not recommend him he will find ways to rip you off.! Be careful if you don't have insurance finds ways to take your money. I didn't have insurance.
