Unbelievably shocked & livid with how I was treated by Dr. Okeefe. I ‘was’ a patient of his for many years & called to get in for a serious tooth issue….excruciating pain that no meds or oral gel was helping. I’ve been in tears from the pain. Waited hours to finally get a call back & was told I need to find a new dentist, I’m no longer welcome there! ?! (And No, I’m not a crazy mean patient who has over due bills).
What Doctor does this to a patient?! Or even to a non patient (as I saw in another review where a non patient called to get a crown fixed & he saw her immediately)?!
It is ethically & morally wrong. It’s inhumane to leave your patient in agony & with possibly an infection that could be dangerous. Especially a patient who he knows has extreme dental anxiety & phobia…to now have to google & call around & try to find a new dentist who has openings & who can hopefully get me in before this situation gets worse.
I just don’t get how any Dr can leave a patient or any human being in pain like that. At the least….he could have taken care of the immediate issue and then kicked me to the curb.
