Won't go anywhere else! Been with this group 50+ years. Even after moving from Rochester, I drive the 45 minutes back for my dental care. They are kind, professional, progressive and I trust them to take good care of me and my family.

I was told by a very condescending, less-than-professional secretary that due to an "office policy" I was not able to bring my children to receive care at this practice because I had an account sent to collections TEN YEARS AGO (it was settled and PIF at that time, by the way)! In her exact words, "there is a note one your account that states unless your children have child health plus, they cannot come to this practice because you had an account sent to collections 10 years ago". Do you mean 10 years ago as in 2010? You do know that is is almost 2021, right?? Because that was long before my children were even a thought. So you mean to tell me that my kids can't receive care at your practice because 10 years ago, I fell behind on my bills and unless NYS is going to pay for their dental care in full you don't trust their mother who experienced a financial hardship 10 years ago to pick up the bill?!?!?!? I couldn't believe what she was telling me. And for the record, my entire family (and there are a lot of us-parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc....) goes to this practice. We have been since my grandparents were alive and getting dental care. Seems like such an unfair policy and why would any business of any kind have a policy like this that holds someone to such accountability for their entire life?! I would imagine even the dentists at this practice have experienced some degree of financial stress in their life. Is it really necessary to put an entire family out of your practice because of something so minor that occurred 10 years ago?! They don't even keep crimes on someone's record for that long.
Well, don't you worry you little brains, North Coast, I will not be coming back to your petty practice. I didn't really like that pediatric dentist anyhow. I just came out of loyalty, familiarity, and knowing that my family had come for literally decades, made me feel comfortable. But you can keep your policy and your rude secretary. Thankfully you are far from the only dental practice in Rochester.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this practice. I used to come here as a kid, but as an adult I found a place closer to me. Well...I had a TERRIBLE experience at the last place and North Coast got me in the next day for an emergency extraction.
THEY WERE AMAZING! I didn't feel a single thing, not one thing. The next day I have no soreness or pain. I am in shock. I will never go to another practice again.

Dr Shah and the whole office at North Coast Dental are amazing! My daughter had such a horrible experience at another dentist she ended up throwing up from fear. Needing extensive work, we were referred to Dr Shah. The whole office was so understanding and caring and really put us both at ease. My daughter is now excited for her dental appointments!

We just had one of the worst experiences ever. Their new pediatric dentist, Ritu Shah, lacks professionalism and had no qualms about losing me and my family of 4 as patients after her behavior.
My 6-year old didn't think she was nice, she lacked patience and compassion for my wife, and she didn't care about pulling my son's loose tooth since that wasn't what our appointment was for. You look for people in fields like this to go above and beyond for their patients, especially for kids, and she had no desire to do so without getting paid. We will never set foot in there again.

I would highly recommend North Coast Dental Group. Dr. Musiker is one of the best dentists I've ever had. He does great work and is always cognizant about his patient's comfort level during procedures. The hygienist and administrative staff are also outstanding.
