Very happy with their work. I don't love needles, but Dr Saunders is a Novocaine ninja... I barely notice he's in there. I had crown work done and they let me keep the casts for my weird little collection! Hands down coolest dentist in Asheville.

I switched to Saunders DDS a year ago. My last dentist was good, but I am very glad I switched. I can't say that cleanings by Shannon have been a joy, but they kind of are, all things considered. I feel very well taken care of by a very warm team of professionals.

We were originally from Georgia and traveling to Virginia for Christmas. We decided to stop in Asheville to explore before heading there. My mom ended up cracking her tooth right before we left and was in excruciating pain. We needed to visit an emergency dentist and wasn't sure how it would go as it was 3 days before Christmas and we were out of state visitors. I googled emergency dentists and Saunders DDS came up. We called them at 4:55 pm right before they closed at 5 pm and explained our situation. She said they could take her in the next morning at 10 am. The tooth ended up having an infection and needed to be pulled. They took care of my mom and the staff was sooooo friendly and accommodating. We couldn't be more grateful to them for helping us out and taking us in so quickly.

I think this is one of the best dentist experiences I've ever had. Bar none. The waiting room was inviting and both it and the exam area were super clean and sanitized. The receptionist and assistants were super friendly and patient with any questions or issues we ran into. The dentist himself (younger Dr. Saunders) was very very nice and informative. The prices were a tad high for my visit, but it was for an extraction, so I understand, and normally my insurance would cover 80% but I haven't met my deductible yet. I have to come back for the extraction when I get that money but until then he shaved down the parts causing my cheek to get cuts and pain and also gave me a regimen for pain meds. This office is a little tiny place nestled in a small office plaza but it is a diamond in the rough!! Just simply amazing and I don't think I'll ever go to anyone else!

We were vacationing in Asheville and I broke a tooth on a Sunday night. Saunders Family Dental Practice worked me in on a Monday morning (non-patient) and patched me up. Honestly, they were great. They were straightforward, very friendly (the staff is wonderful), and patched me up so I could enjoy the rest of our vacation. I truly appreciate the care I was given and would recommend them to anyone.

I feel like Dr. Saunders is professional and truly cares about his patients. I had another dentist (who had a nice, shiny new office with lots of equipment to pay for) tell me I needed 6 crowns, but Dr. Saunders let me know this was not the case. I feel like he is honest and upfront with his patients.

Dr. Steven Saunders did a wonderful job extracting my #2 molar. He is a very skilled and honest dentist. I moved here in 2014 and have a difficult time finding the right dentist for me. I highly recommend him and his very friendly staff.

I had to have emergency dental care. I called on Monday and they got me in on Wednesday. They even called me with 2 other appointments earlier, I was just unable to get there in time! The staff was so nice, I was seen quickly, and the doctor is wonderful. I was in and out for a tooth extraction on 38 minutes. No joke. I was highly impressed and will definitely be continuing care here.

There's a reason it's so hard to get an appointment here. He is the Gold standard of dentistry in AVL. I had a great hygienist for teeth cleaning. Unfortunately they found a cavity and I have to go back. At least I'll be in good hands!

I had an aching tooth that needed immediate attention. I called Saunders and Saunders and was greeted with a kind voice and an appointment that same day. Dr. Saunders treated my tooth quickly and painlessly...and has great compassion to boot! My compliments to the entire staff there from the front desk to the dental assistants...they make you feel welcome and comfortable and they know their stuff! MANY THANKS to all of you.
