I have always been terrified of the dentist. But Dr jones and Johanna were both amazing. They explained everything and didn’t rush even though they had a patient in the next room. I went in for an emergency filling when one came loose on my lunch break. I felt like I was in good hands.

This place was awful. For starters they called the day before my appointment to reschedule the time. No big deal. The next day I call, reconfirm the appointment time & arrive @9:40 for a 10 o’clock appointment. As I filled out the paperwork a gentleman in the waiting area was going off about having to have his appointment rescheduled(2nd red flag). I went in the back @ 10:02 the dentist didn’t come in until 10:37 and told me she could see me if I wanted to wait on her to finish the current patient which at minimum would be 30 minutes or come back tomorrow. By this point I’m agitated but still keeping my cool. The last straw was when the hygienist came back with a bill for a procedure that was covered in full by my insurance when mind you NO WORK WAS DONE! I left before losing it, only for them to call me less than 10 minutes after leaving to say that they realized my insurance would cover the visit.Professionalism and time management lacks here.

I was looking to find a new dentist and with dental care at Alamance crossing being across the street from my work I decided to give it a try. My visit started off ok, but once I got in the chair it went downhill from there. The hygienists was very unprofessional. I felt like he was talking down to me through most of the visit and when he was finished he proceeded to assume I didn't have dental insurance. I had already given my card to the receptionist before the visit. He even asked "you don't have insurance do you?" Why would he even ask me that question?? When I was finally escorted to the lobby I had to wait another ten minutes to find out that "my insurance" had covered the visit and I didn't owe anything. The whole visit lasted almost two hours. Not sure why it took so long? Oh, wait, I do know why....it was because they took twenty x-rays and several pictures of my teeth! Needless to say I won't be returning for another visit.
