Serenity Family Dentistry

Upon arriving to my appointment I called to let the front desk know I will be 15 minutes behind Schedule. Unfortunately, traffic prohibited that time frame and a hygients by name of Chrisy called and was very rude and asking "where are you..." her tone and questioning was very unprofessional. I will be looking for another dentistry else where.

My reply after Serenity Family Dentistry Post:
Let me be very clear again. There wasn't too much of an issue being seen at a later time or scheduling another appointment. It couldve even been canceled. What's not being addressed is the disrespect from your hygienist Chrisy when she called me at 2:16pm. Her tone and disrespect was her actions which caused my reaction to get my dental records from you when I still came into the office. There would be no way in hell I would let someone clean my teeth with her sarcasm, nice nasty and unprofessional attitude. And please be truthful when I came into the office the Black receptionist woman said I'm sorry we can't see you today. My response was no problem can I get my records. So, please tell me how I demanded to be seen?

Future patients, I initially chose this Dentistry because it is Black Owned. However, the hygients is White. Its nothing wrong with that at all. Good business is good business. But if youre looking for Black Owned with Black Staff, this may not be the dentistry for you. However, there are other Black Owned Dentistries else where. You can get treated with respect and dignity other then here. What they are doing here is saving face with a profession Post in writing but their actions in person to include the front desk is short of professional.

Visited in December 2022, office staff is professional , friendly , and does well. I am missing a follow-up from them from the visit so we'll see how that goes if the follow-up comes through or not. Besides that, the dental hygenist was good, the technicians were professional, and Dr. Tameka Attaway did a good job of explaining what she thought and what she was doing. I would recommend this office and doctor based on this recent experience. Parking at the location is easy and private so it feels safe. The office is well maintained the only problem was with the x-ray machine not recording the scans every time, I hope this is repaired.

I love Serenity Family Dentist! They all really make you feel you are part of a family and they do great work! Left yesterday with sparkling clean teeth and a big smile on my face! So grateful for all their kindness!

Wouldn’t schedule an appointment with me due to a cancellation fee I received due to missing an appointment because of the death of my father. With a million things going on at that time I forgot to call and reschedule my dentist appointment but who is really thinking about that when losing a family member….terrible

Edit 11/02/2022 When I called Monday 10/31 @9:41am I informed the representative I was speaking with that the appointment was missed due to a death in my family and she stated that an appt couldn’t be scheduled until the fee was paid. So stating that it wasn’t mentioned until the I made the second call for my records to be sent to another dentist is false!! No empathy was shown at all when I mentioned the death of my loved one or the pain I was having from a broken tooth the first time I reached out on 10/31/2022…the Only information that was relayed to me was an appt couldn’t be scheduled due to a missed appt fee..be honest

As always my experience with Serenity Family Dentistry was superb. I love that you feel peace as soon as you walk into the office. The staff is amazing and Dr. Attaway is patient and very in tune with me each time. She listens carefully to my questions and always has an answer or a suggestion. I'm so glad that I found her practice. You can tell that God resides there.

Pleasant and engaging staff. Dr Attaway was warm and friendly with great attention to detail. Extremely clean and efficient appt. After a 2 year search, I think I found my dentist!

I can to admit dentist office ain't the greatest place you want to end up if it's not just a easy clean but this office makes me feel relaxed and help me understand what's going on in my mouth. The staff is friendly and the dentist she is super friendly and helpful. She put me at ease even though I got a lot going on. I'm glad I picked this one.

Dr. Attaway and her staff were excellent. I took three of my kids there and they all left talking about how much they LOVED their experience. Dr. Attaway was thorough and took the time to go over x-rays and explain my child's dental needs. Would 100% recommend.

I absolutely loved my first visit to Serenity Family Dentistry today. I called to let them know that I was outside for my appointment and the super nice receptionist said she would call me back when my dental hygienist was ready for me.(which was within minutes of my arrival because she had already emailed my new patient paperwork over for me to print and fill out.) When walking in, I was greeted warmly (probably with a smile but everyone had on masks!) I had 2 dental hygienist and they took awesome care of my teeth and made them feel minty fresh. 😁 Dr. Attway was as gentle and sweet as they come. I highly recommend their office for all of your dentistry needs.

Love, Love, Love my visits to Serenity Family Denistry with the amazing Dr. Attaway and her great staff. When your kids also enjoy going to the dentist you know you've found something special. The experience is always a pleasure.
