I have been a patient for several years without incident, and was pleased with the care and services I received. Recently there has been a change in the front office, and the service is poor. I was scheduled for 1 appointment and I called to confirm, and my appointment was canceled without my knowledge and I had to reschedule (not very convenient). The 2nd time I had an appointment and the office called to confirm and left a voice mail. I was at work and did not have time to call back. The next day I received another voicemail indicated this appointment had been canceled also because I did not confirm (again I was at work and it had been less than 24 hours since the first voicemail). I have never missed appointments and I am always early, so I could not understand why this one particular office staff was so quick to cancel my appointments. I requested to speak to a manager Angie, who was unavailable, and who never returned my phone call to discuss their new procedures or the lack of customer service. Yet I continue to get emails and text messages to schedule an appointment. There are too many dentists in the area to be treated as such. I keep all of my appointments, because I don't like to waste my time on my off days. Very annoying and unprofessional.

Both the Dentist and Dental Hygienist were very professional, friendly, and patiently answered all of my questions. They made me feel like I mattered. Thank you Tameka Attaway and the whole Serenity office family.

I do NOT like visits to the dentist so much that I have to take an anxiety med before I go. And in the past even that was not enough. For the first time in a LONG time, I felt comfortable at the dentist. They cared about my safety during the COVERT-19 period as well as my comfort. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My first visit as a new patient with Serenity Family Dentistry gave me the feeling as if I was visiting with friends and relatives. The attention and detail provided by Kiara the receptionist, the professional care provided by Crissy the Dental Hygienist and the detailed explanation of care outlined by Dr. Attaway convinced me to move forward with my long term treatment with this practice and I plan to recommend them to my Family and friends going forward.

I absolutely Love my Dentistry Team here at Serenity. Everyone is very friendly professional and informative which leads to all that I seek as their customer. I'm very satisfied and would definitely refer to their practice.

I decided to try this dental office because I was new to Charlotte. I ignored the negative reviews and unfortunately all the negative reviews were spot on!! I am no longer doing business with this company. The dentist was nice but did not seem very knowledgeable. They do not consider the patients time and or work schedule and will charge you a cancellation fee even when you try to work with them or when you try to cancel in advance. The front desk girl is rude, arrogant and very unprofessional. She needs to slow down when she is talking and be trained on how to provide good customer service. On top of the office hours being very inconvenient they advertise promotions that they have no intention of honoring. It's all just to get you in the door. They emailed and text me regarding a follow up appointment for a crown when the endodontist they referred me to has unsuccessfully done a root canal. How am I to get a crown when the root canals are not complete!?? The front desk girl has no brains! 😂. I tried to explain this to her on multiple occasions. Why are there not patient notes? Why are you not communicating with the endo you are referring patients too !?? I have already found me a new dental office and the experience has been like night and day! Way better than here!. Trust me when I say DO NOT go to this place!. You will end up with more problems and headache than it is worth. There are better dental offices with competent polite and respectful staff. These people only care about money. Good luck Tameka and motor mouth with retaining patients. 😅 I'll take my insurance and hard earned cash elsewhere.

I recently had to begin the process of finding a new dentist office after my dentist retired. The process was made extremely easy by the Serenity staff. I had spoke to Dr. Attaway about coming into the office as we originally went to high school together and she helped ease my reservations about starting a new with a new dentist office. The service was top notch, the hygenist Chrissy who cleaned my teeth was amazing and made me feel like I had been attending the office for years. I would recommend this office to anyone and have already encouraged those closest to me to give Serenity a try as I know they will not be disappointed.

Dr attaway is a very nice and humble doctor however her front desk staff is very rude. My mom is a regular patient there and I tried to make my sister appointment too. I tried to explain the front desk women that I am calling for my sister and she kept telling me that your mom needs to be seen by an oral surgeon. I tried to clarify so many times that I’m not talking about my mom but instead of listening to me she first put me on hold and later hung up on me. I tried calling 3 times and she hung up on me. I really think they need to hire nice front desk staff or they are gonna loose all there patients slowly. I will have to look for another dentist now only Because of rude and unofficial staff. I wouldn’t recommend this. Your way of dealing is the first impression you’re gonna give to your clients.

I had a great experience at Serenity Family Dentistry. Everyone was very kind. I was having a rough morning with several things going on and everyone was very patient with me. The hygienist and the dentist were were friendly and explained everything that they were doing and why. I had a difficult experience with my previous dentist and it has been a long time since I was open to trusting anyone else with taking care of my teeth. I walked away from the appointment having a full treatment plan that was explained to me and techniques to improve my teeth-brushing/flossing habits. I highly recommend Serenity Family Dentistry.

So wonderful! I never write reviews but they definitely deserve one. I'm from out of town (like most in Charlotte) and I've gone to the same dentist my entire life. I was nervous about going to someone new and put off going to the dentist for over a year. I just so happened to hear about them through work and finally sucked it up and made my appointment. One of the best decisions I've ever made!! Everyone in that office is so nice and personable. They made me feel like I'd been going to them for years☺️ They really do care about you as an individual and I've already set up my next 6 month appointment! No need to look anywhere else👍🏼
