Dest Family Dentistry of Kings Mountain

I was dropped as a patient because I had to cancel my appointment for having Covid. Office staff is rude and uncaring. You cant ever get them on the phone. Leave a message and they text you. I simply asked if I could reschedule, and they said no. So still communicating by text I told them I was coming in. They replied they had ALREADY filled my appointment when I never canceled. I simply asked by text if I could reschedule, and when I was told no I assured them I assured them if be there. But was told it was too late and they canceled my future appointments i had scheduled. I called again with no answer and left a voicemail that there was some miscommunication by text and tried to clear up the confusion, just to be told I was dropped as a patient for missing this and a previous appointment. They told me I had been warned in 2015. My appointment was June 29 2022. I made clear I missed my last appointment because I had Covid. And didn't want to get them sick. But that didn't matter. I never canceled my appointment. I had asked if it were possible to reschedule, and when told I couldn't I told them I was coming. So it's messed up to do a patient for following protocol. And only replyin to patients by text to allow this to happen . If i would have actual spoke to staff I could have told them I'd be in, and my appt wouldnt have been given away. I don't know if it was the office manager I Funaki got on the phone, but she was unsympathetic, rude. And didn't care that there system had caused the issue. It's actually a blessing because front desk staff was judgemental and made me feel uncomfortable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I had an awesome experience at Dest Family Dentistry this week. I had been going elsewhere to the same dentist for 15+ years and had to switch recently and was very nervous about getting a cavity filled. Brandie, the dental assistant, was so nice and reassuring the entire time, she was the best! Dr. George was great - I didn’t feel a thing and it was so quick! So glad I found a new dentist right here in town.

My husband and I have been going here for about 3 or 4 years now. We enjoy seeing everyone there, and enjoy all their small talk. The ladies are always super friendly! Dr. George is great and personable too!

I have been a patient for years and I've loved every time I've gone. How can you say that about a dentist unless they are absolutely fabulous and have the best team working with them!

Best dentist office I've ever visited. Have been going here for decade now and have never been disappointed. Most professional and painless dentist and the staff and hygienists are very polite and helpful.Dr George does a wonderful job.

This dental practice is first class. I can't say enough about the entire staff. The ladies at the front desk, all of the dental hygienists, and Dr. George, exude kindness and professionalism at every visit. They are always on schedule and practice precise safety protocol, especially during this time of Covid uncertainty. If you're looking for a new dental team, I highly recommend Dest Family Dentistry. You will not be disappointed.

The staff are so very polite. I had to have some bottom dentures made are they did an excellent job. Coming from a bad experience with another dentist these people are GREAT!!!!!

I always enjoy going to see them. They greet with a smile going and when leaving. Without their attention and guiding I wouldn't be able smile like I do. Today was a good day, everything looking good. No bad .

Each time I go, the staff and the Doctors have been excellent. The dental assistants are so kind and respectful. I would recommend this dentistry to adults and to children. Go and see for yourself. You will know then how good they are.

Dr George and Jennifer were fantastic to me! I broke a tooth and was scared about having to go to the dentist. They were both understanding about my nervousness. They made the whole process of getting my tooth repaired a pleasant experience. It didnt hurt and I'm so happy that they took great care of me. Went back and had Ashley clean my teeth and she was so sweet and gentle and explained what she was doing and why. The office staff were all super nice to me too!
