I received a bill almost a year after my procedure which I was told that my payment at the time of $350 was what I owed. They sent me to collections I disputed it. Didn't make a difference. Biggest problem is that is they had told me before the end of the year of my dental work I had the money in my HSA to pay it. Most unprofessional office I have ever dealt with including my daughter who had the same thing happen to her. Now they are going to garnish my wages. It is completely insane. This place should be shut down! They do not deserve any stars but I want this posted so they get a freebee!

I’ve been coming to Dr. Meland for years and never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly, they get me in and out quickly (as much as I like Dr. Meland nobody actually LIKES being in a dental chair). Would recommend this place to anyone.

NEVER AGAIN will I go here! I will also be filing a compliant with the BBB. I went in for a procedure signed an estimate that said I would owe about $340 out of pocket. I paid what I owed in full; or at least I thought. 5 months later, I am now being informed that I owe them an additional $700+. They didn't even bother to call me. I could understand an estimate being an estimate, and owing a little extra on top of the $340 that they originally estimated AND had me sign; but $700 and some change!?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME! The gal in charge of the estimates and billing really needs a lesson in math to prevent more patients from being hit with surprises such as this!!! I feel like I was scammed into the importance of having the procedure done right then, on the spot, and not waiting for an additional insurance to kick in a month later. I was in no pain so I could have handled waiting to have the procedure done. Then Dr. Meland told me it needed to be taken care of right then, so I did.
I thought he was a decent DDS. as far as the procedure went. But I really feel like the staff pulled a once over on me, and now I am stuck paying for it. Really have to be careful these days. Do your research before choosing providers. To top it off, I called to resolve the issue and while the gal I spoke with was not very sympathetic as to how an estimate could be off over a $700 difference from the original, She seemed very snotty, and just tried to pass it off as it is, what it is. I certainly wish I would have done my research on this office.
On a side note, the office is also very tiny. For anyone who has anxiety about going to a DDS the super small confined space that's barley big enough for the chair can make anyones anxiety go crazy. I'd pass on this office, wait the extra time to get into a reputable DDS in town.

Dr Ricks is the best. He is a little scatter brained but he really does a good job. His hygienists are nice and he does his best to get your in and out in a timely but not-rushed manner. He even gave the same rate for braces to my sister, even though prices had gone up since I had mine done. Anytime my retainer goes wonky, he fixed it for free. He still recognized me years later. I can't recommend this place enough. They even have TVs in the ceiling so you can watch while they work on your teeth.
