I appreciate that he makes his own crowns on the spot so a root canal and crown only takes one visit. Also Dr. Shirley is knowledgeable and skilled in implant dentistry. In addition. Dr. Shirley has a very knowledgeable and skilled staff of dental assistants. And finally each patient is treated like a customer.

I initially called to make an appointment with Dr. Shirley’s office after researching laser cavity removal and discovering he’s one of only a handful around the state that can offer this service. I made an appointment for 7/31/18, but was moved up by more than seven weeks.
I worked with Amy, the hygienist, who was an exceptional listener as I voiced my preferences and concerns, and asked my questions. She was able to concisely explain what I was seeing and feeling, and was able to accurately relay everything to Dr. Shirley when he performed his exam. Amy is highly skilled and was able to identify all the areas of concern that Dr. Shirley himself identified.
After my examination, I worked with Erica, the receptionist and - for lack of knowing the official title - benefits specialist, who sat with me to go over my bill, my projected course of services, costs, and scheduling to help me maximize my dental insurance benefits to keep my out of pocket costs as low as possible.
I received a hand written ‘thank you’ card a couple of days later.

BEST DENTIST EVER And GREAT STAFF! Been to many dentists over my life and Dr. Mark Shirley is the absolute BEST. The Staff is wonderful. Best Technology in his office. Had to have a root canal and crown. In the past the dentist made you fill my mouth with a tray full of plaster, then after choking, come back days later for the crown, NOT here it was painless and no plaster. I hope never to have to go to another dentist other than Mark Shirley, DDS. I recommend without reservation.
