The hygienists and dr griffin are all so nice and made my 3 and 5 yr olds feel so confident about taking care of their teeth. They speak kindly and praise the kids so much throughout the whole visit my kids have a great time and look forward to the next checkup. Ocean dental is awesome!

My daughter had her wisdom teeth taken out there. The nurses made sure she was calm before the procedure. They answered all her questions and walked her thru what exactly was going to be done. After we came home the doctor called twice to check up on her and her pain level. He offered his cell # for any questions or concerns. They are true experts working with kids. Love them!

Dr.Potter is amazing! The dentist we saw wasn't very nice to my son. I get that you have to be a little firm, but when my son told her that something hurt she said "No it doesn't, you're overreacting." She didn't stop working even when he started to cry, and then she chastised him for moving too much (from crying). I feel like I should have said something then but they were almost done and I didn't want my son to feel worse. Even if he was overreacting, she made no effort to make him feel more comfortable. The dental assistant was much more gentle, though. We didn't have to wait long and the office staff was professional but the female dentist we saw made me not want to come back.

Terrible. . My 5 year old was in to get a cleaning and xrays completed, and knowing that their patient flow is majority children, they literally dont have any kid friendly people besides a couple of them, and of course, those are not the two I got. The dentist was terrible. Gave up and referred her to a specialist for simple xrays. Bear in mind, we had to wait 45 mins pass our scheduled appt time. Anyways, my daughter was stating that the xray vest was tight on her neck and felt like she was choking. Yes, my daughter was giving the assistant and the dentist alittle hard time, due to a lack of them explaining the steps to her, so she took off the vest and put it on the ground. At that time, the dentist (Griffin), literally raised her voice disciplining my child due to her sliding the jacket on the floor and it hitting her leg.... no bedside manner whatsoever.... she seriously needs to reconsider her career, cause what she is doing right now, and how she treats her patients, is the way that some kids are frightened to go to the dentist in the first place. I just wanted alot of people to know how the service is, and to never go there if so. The dental assistant was fair in general. She was able to clean her teeth, but when it came to explaining, she had an attitude.

The dentist they made me feel very comfortable with their services on my child's mouth because, let's be honest parents' Some of us are not very comfortable when our children our in pain from someone our kids see as a total stranger.. well this place helped us understand step-by-step everything that it is they were doing it made me feel very comfortable at that point. They really treated my 4.5 years old well. The dentist really talked me through everything and was so sweet to him and me. They made it easy easy.
My only con is that i couldnt go back with him as they examined him. Yes i have a snap and go stroller with my twins in their car seats snapped into it. But they might want to consider making 1 or 2 larger exam areas so that way the moms with strollers can acompany their kids. My kids is a trooper and didnt need me. But it was our frist time with ocean dental and it would have made me feel more comfortable if i could have had the option to be there.
But over all it was a great experience.

IT was my 4yr old and my 3yr old first time the staff is amazing they are polite and respectful and my kids absolutely loved it. They were very nice and gentle with my kids. My kids and I are looking forward to our next visit at Ocean Dental

I took my fiancé in due to a broken tooth. The check in process was pretty painless and he was called back relatively fast. They prescribed him an antibiotic and something for the discomfort. When I inquired about the need for an antibiotic they never would say for sure there was an infection. Their answer was, most like there is. Huh, either there is or there's not. The only other concern I have is the cash prices. Really, it cost freakin $1300.00 to fix a tooth? I am positive to materials to fix the tooth cost less than $20.00. We are a one income home with children to raise and feed. I understand that is not their problem, however, they should be considerate and do not try to swindle their customers.

Dr. Spear excised my daughter's wisdom teeth. He was extremely informative before and after the procedure. He called in the evening to check on her and said he would be available at a given phone number if she has any problems or we think of any new questions.
Highly recommend.
