The dental hygienist spent lots of time explaining my dental problem to me and going over various treatment plans to work on it. She is the first dental specialist to inform me that I could treat this problem at home and actually repair it. (the beginnings of periodontal disease. The dentist was very informative and did not scare me about future needed crowns/etc. that are scary and expensive.
