First experience with Dental Care Acworth and we were extremely impressed. 1. I had extreme tooth pain and they got me in to find a solution within 30 minutes of calling. 2. I sat in the waiting room for maybe 1 minute if not less 3. The techs and Dentist were all very kind and professional, but also very casual and great at explaining my options. 4. Everything was clean and organized, and they had Netflix on a tv so you could pick a show while you sat in the room. 5. Billing was really straight forward and cheap. (With insurance). We will continue going here and I highly recommend from the experience I had!

Dr. Mitchell provided excellent care and was pleasant surprise. To be honest, I’ve been having issues finding an ethical dentist, instead finding myself in the middle of a sales pitch it being refused treatment unless I agreed to treatments not covered by my insurance. You won’t find that kind of mess at Dental Care of Acworth. Dr. Mitchell not only out my mind at ease by not trying to up sell his services, but he also provided a gentle touch. From the moment I walked through the front doors until I walked back out everyone made me feel super comfortable. Prices are fair which is important if you do not have insurance like me. I do not have an issue with the care received but did have an unfortunate experience with this office. I had scheduled my appointment a month in advance and they sent me text reminders to confirm. The text message threatened to charge me a fee if I did not confirm, so I did. The day that I had my appointment I had to request off of work early in order to make the appointment and received a text reminder for the appointment the day of. When I got to the appointment the receptionist stated that they had been trying to reach me because the dentist wanted to leave early that day and reschedule my appointment. She said that she would check with him to see if he still wanted to see me. After a few minutes she returned and stated that I would need to reschedule the appointment. I understand that emergencies happen but the way this was handled demonstrated a true lack of care for patients and that the dentist sees patient when he feels like it. My husband and I will not return because we cannot trust that appointments will be honored and do not feel valued.
