Today I called to see if Winchester dental clinic was accepting new patients and was told they couldn’t see me until August. The lady I spoke to was not only speaking to me as if I were interrupting her time but spoke over me and really didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. In fact she had the nerves to say, if you want to check around with other clinics, you can, needless to say I have. Hopefully she treats other new patients better because Winchester won’t be treating me.

I came today for a second opinion after being told that I needed three crowns and had periodontal disease by Riverchase Dental in Phenix City. I was shocked to hear that none of this was true. Dr. Winchester and his staff retook x rays at their office and scheduled me for a normal cleaning in six months. He did not charge for my appointment today. I am so thankful I decided to get a second opinion saving myself over $1000. The friendly and honest staff made me feel so comfortable. I have found my new “home” for a dentist!

I have been a patient of Dr. Winchester's for many years and I have found him to be a Professional, who has a Warm demeanor, a Kind heart. I have Soo much Faith in his work. His staff is just as Courteous as he, and I was so impressed by Heather who answered the phone and discussed my situation and options for an appointment without dental insurance. I had not been there in about 7 yrs for lack of insurance. My gums were bleeding and swollen, I am also diabetic, and I was terribly afraid of losing a tooth. She assured me that a Cleaning was absolutely necessary soon, but encouraged me to continue brushing 3x daily, and flossing after each meal. Just speaking with her eased my fears, and I can't wait thank her in person.
