They are very good with my teenage son. They are patient, and the front desk is great. They offer an affordable payment plan if you don’t have insurance. Short wait times and thorough visits.

Dismissed me from the practice because I had to reschedule appointments due to illness or my children getting sick, or because I had to work during the few times that were available for me to choose from. There was only one appointment I missed that I just completely forgot about. Thank you family dental practice for being so understanding with working moms in an ongoing pandemic…

Overly impressed with the service I received for my two-year-old on her very first appointment! The staff was patient with her and did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable. She's terrified of doctors but showed no signs of uneasiness, they even got her to smile!! Will highly recommend!!! Wait time wasn't bad at all and the front desk was friendly and quick!

After a negative experience I was courteous enough to seek resolution privately and was met with excuses, condescension and not a single apology. As a result I informed them I would be seeking another provider to which the dentist; who was new to my children and myself, but never took the time to introduce herself; sent a certified letter informing me that they had removed myself and my children as patients and cancelled all existing appointments which included a much needed filling for my 12 year old. As patients for well over five years, I feel as though we deserved much better treatment and cancelling my child's appointment before knowing we have a new provider and full well knowing that there are mandatory waiting periods when you choose a new provider, is in very bad form.

Changed dentists during covid due to lack of appts and was pleasantly surprised. Came from a “gentile” practice and after a filing at Family dental I was shocked. Much more gentile a f compassionate. Takes the time to do it right the first time. So glad I switched. Practice not only cares about your dental health but your overall well being!!

I am a new patient at this office and Dr. Rossignol has been amazing. Not only does she listen and care, she has fabulous skill and gentle hands. Everyone that I have met has been so caring and supportive of me and I can not thank them enough.

The entire group at family dental practice is spectacular, from reception, to billing, techs and docs!!! I have a pretty decent fear of dentists and nobody has been so willing and concerned over it and they went out of their way to make me comfortable. even the after care and responsivness to billing questions is above and beyond any other dentists office ive ever been to!!

Wonderful staff, caring and compassionate. Really good at fitting you in if you have a dental emergency. Dr. Oesterlin will always do what she can to help your issue. Feels like family, definitely lives up to it's name.

I have been a patient at this practice since 1974. I cannot fully express my gratitude concerning my dental care enough as aging has changed my dental needs. The staff is wonderful and totally responsive to patient needs and spends the time to listen to the concerns and questions of their patients.I feel I am in the right place for my oral health care. I so appreciate Dr. Rossingnol’s interest in essential oils and tested alternative measures. This mixture of medical knowledge with an open mind, and compassion makes for powerful medicine.

I've spent the better part of my adult life avoiding dentists. This originated as a child and teenager, when it seemed like every time I went to see a dentist they were never satisfied with my mouth until they made my gums bleed by poking them with a metal pick and admonished me about how bad a job I was always doing. Basically, I always left feeling like my mouth was full of raw hamburger and insulted to boot. Why would you want to continue that when you can avoid it, right? So I did. I sometimes grind my teeth when I sleep and a month ago I chipped a tooth doing this, waking up with a small piece on my tongue and feeling more than a little concerned. There was a very rough, jagged spot on one of my molars where this had broken off. I haven't been to a dentist in 21 years at this point, and I couldn't stop thinking that my teeth were about to start falling apart. I called around to several local offices in Augusta, but none of them could see me anytime soon. I called Family Dental Practice on the recommendation of a co-worker and they offered me a visit within the next few days - far better than the weeks others gave me. Dr. Rossignol understood my concerns and listened to my fears. She provided me with exceptionally professional and courteous service that put me entirely at ease about visiting her office. We discussed my situation and what I'd need to do, and worked out a visit schedule that fit my dental needs and not a cookie-cutter "every 6 months because we want your money" motif. In short, I can't recommend her enough if you're like me and have been dreading your next dental visit, even if it has been a couple decades. I left in absolutely no pain and felt like I mattered to them. I'm going to start going back for regular screenings and cleanings now that I've discovered there's nothing left to fear. Thank you Dr. Rossignol!
