O'Fallon Modern Dentistry

I have had nothing but issues with this company. First visit was for my husband to get fitted for dentures. They seemed polite and professional at that point and time. However they had my insurance incorrect, it took a month and a lot of leg work on my end to get it corrected, but it did get resolved. Then when he went into get his teeth pulled and his dentures placed in, they refused to give services unless I paid $500 for a special healing pack they claimed wasn’t covered by insurance and had previously told me was not required however encouraged. I went ahead and paid it and after reviewing my insurance claim statement, it was covered however not at 100% and should have cost me $306 not $500 I was charged. I went back to have fillings done for my children and was told they would not fill their teeth unless I paid $850 for the fillings. My insurance covers fillings at 100%. i asked them to review the insurance and correct it again and they stated the type of filling they are giving is not covered by my insurance. They they only offer tooth colored fillings and my insurance only covers metal. I once again called my insurance company who confirmed that the filling should in fact be covered at 100%. I have switched dentist and filed a formal complaint with the dental board. Oh and to top it all off, my husbands dentures don’t even come close to fitting his mouth. They claimed they could adjust them but they basically sanded down a part that was causing abrasions in his mouth but this doesn’t fix the fact that they are about an inch and a half to wide for his mouth. All in all this has been the worst experience I have ever had with a dental or any other medical provider in my life. If you are considering this office for your dental needs, I highly discourage it. Update on the response to this. Prior to writing this review I had contacted that number. I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes, called back, then was hung up on. Called back and was told there was not

1st time patient and Amy, the dental assistant, was awesome to work with. Melody, the hygienist, did a great job. Dr. Gulley was fantastic. I have definitely found a new dental office. The ladies behind the desk were very nice as well.

Hygienist and dentist were really friendly and upbeat. My appointment started on time and completed quickly, so I had time to get on with my day.

Had the opportunity to work with Melody and Dr. Ani. Both of them were attentive and gentle when working on my teeth and gums. They helped make a scary situation more comfortable to handle. Thank you ladies - I appreciate you! When dealing with the front office staff, I dealt mostly with Nicole and she was knowledgeable when I asked questions and cheerful during the early morning appointments.

I love coming here! I have been getting cleanings by melody and she is awesome to work with, super nice and gentle on the teeth. I also see Dr.Ani who is just as fantastic to work with. I will definitely be continuing to visit this office!

O'Fallon Modern Dentistry exceeded my expectations on every level. They were knowledgeable, professional, thorough, supportive, and made what can oftentimes be an unpleasant experience a very positive one all around. I highly recommend them for anyone considering dental care. I was particularly impressed with Assistant Amanda and Dr. Gulley. World-class!

Had an appointment today for checkup and cleaning. My hygienist was Melody...great experience...she was AWESOME! Explained everything she was doing along the way.

Overall treatment was excellent. Kayla was very helpful and professional. She made the process go smooth and easy. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Ani was very nice and professional. She helped me whiten my teeth and I am really happy with the results! The whole experience was fantastic and I’ll definitely be going back.

If I could give Melody 10 stars I would. Melody is my dental hygienist. She is always very friendly, pleasant, and puts me at ease during my visits. As well, Melody is very knowledgeable about her work and dental health, and she willingly answers my questions and provides useful information for home care between visits. Oh, the front desk associates are very “patient friendly” too.

Melody is efficient, professional and personable. For the first time in my adult life, I don't fear and dread getting my teeth cleaned.

Kayla was my son’s dental assistant and she was amazing. She took the time to really make him feel comfortable. We didn’t have to wait weeks for an appointment. All of the staff was so friendly. The rest of my family will be going here.

Have been a patient for 3 years now. Love my dentist Halie Gulley, & her assistant Jess they are so kind & do a great job, always on time. Melody the hygienist also very friendly & efficient. I also want to recognize Cindy, she has helped me many times. I honestly can say my experience with this office has been mostly painless & a great atmosphere in the office.
