Front desk Ladies very disrespectful.They cancel your appointment last-minute without letting you know and will give you excuse after excuse on why they won't help you after setting up multiple appointments.Very rude and disrespectful.

They all make you feel so comfortable and welcome! Dr. McCue is AMAZING!! I could seriously go on and on about how great this place is! The hygienist (wish I got her name) is just as AMAZING! Today I went for a cleaning but really needed a bit more done to gain my confidence back while smiling and I barely had to push the subject and I could tell the staff understood. They actually cared. McCue went out of his way to give me that so I didn’t have to wait 6 months out for an opening. I cannot express how much this meant to me! 5 stars every time!

I have had great experience with Dr. Mccue when dealing with teeth issues. His staff have always been helpful and knowledgeable and making my visit pleasant. I was dealing with a tooth that just got chipped and he reassured me that it was going to be okay. I am doing better now! Also those beautiful dogs are very therapeutic especially when I am dealing with any anxiety when going to dentist.

I’ve never written a bad review in my life but this place cut my son today claiming he missed an appointment today. He had a appt for tomorrow. They claim he had two back to back. Normally they call the day before and have you confirm your appointment for the next day. They also claim that his “appointment “ for today was confirmed. Only people on my sons list our myself and his step Dad. Neither of us spoke to anyone from this place. Dr. Mccue just cut a child like that. The lady on the phone couldn’t tell me, his own mother who they supposed talked to on the phone yesterday . when I asked she said nope not going to do that. This is the same place a couple years ago who tried to give my kid a shot of novocaine, when he was there for a cleaning, turns out they had the wrong patient information, thankfully I was there to ask what they were doing. This is also the place who kept calling my father over the past two years even after I updated information with them to let them know he had passed away to confirm with a person who no longer is my Dad and just has his cell phone number now. Not exactly how a place should operate.

Took my son here 3 times , all 3 times he had to go back to fix the work. The doctor was very pushy about getting a lot of work done in one day but failed to mention just how costly it was going to be. I’ve had words put in my mouth from the front staff as well as bold faced lies about what I was told . I was also told that I needed to pay before they fixed my child’s teeth that they messed up just before they told me that’s not what they said Then I was told they will be reaching out to my wife’s commanindng officer when I didn’t roll over for them . If you are in the army or just in Watertown . Avoid this place at all costs. Unless you want to be bullied into work that you don’t know the price of

1 star is being generous! I needed a root canal done and the whole process took 4 months! They kept pushing my appointments, not answering their phones, and not calling me back when I left messages. Took me over 6 weeks to get ahold of them one time and then they told me they wouldn’t see me until January to get my permanent crown on…. That I would be fine with a 4-6 week temporary for 3 months! They kept saying it was because they were understaffed, which I could understand, but they never should of accepted me as a patient if they didn’t have time for me. They also have dogs roaming the facility, not just the waiting room. The exam/procedure rooms as well. They are allowed in while the dentist is working. That is insanely unsanitary! Gross, gross, gross! Dr. McCue is unprofessional and doesn’t even explain what he is doing before he does it. He just chats with his assistant the entire time. He also couldn’t get a perfect bite on my crown and I felt him turn his drill around and drill enamel off of a perfectly healthy tooth, which now has sensitivities and hurts. I would sue them if I had proof! They also told me how much I owed and each time it was 100-200 more! Do not go here!!

Honestly, I would give them no stars but I had to give them one so I could write a review. By far the least professional practice I have ever been to and also a complete waste of time. two of my appointments had to be rescheduled months out at a time because the dentist decided to take a day off just a day prior to when my appointments was scheduled. On top of it most of the office staff is very rude in the entire office is not cleanly at all. All of my experiences we’re so bad, I would rather pull my teeth out with a pair of pliers then go back there. Do yourself a favor and find a different practice.

I made an appointment 9 months out and they got my phone number wrong which I always double check when giving info they have it right and they never called to confirm said they had wrong number and filled my slot... and couldn't get my kids for 8 more months!!

Started off going to McCue in Philadelphia a 2years ago, then changed to Watertown. From the start the office staff didn’t know what they are doing..says one amount for service then changes it the second time. My husband started seeing him as well. His experience is 10x worse. Long story short we received a bill we never knew we had, office staff never asked for payment anytime we went in for cleanings. They canceled our last appointments without a phone call. Sent our bill to collections after 6attempts to collect, after finding out they sent bill 6times to the wrong address. That didn’t matter to McCue still stayed in collections until settled even though his staff was incompetent. And they couldn’t provide a itemized statement of what we pd or our insurance.. we never returned after the settlement. Covid hit and had to wait for new dentist appointments only to find out all the work McCue did on my husband was junk and $$ wasted n insurance won’t cover for 5 years. Bc the bridge and crown he did had deep cavities under them and now has an abscess that could kill him. All bc McCues work is JUNK!! Don’t walk, run from this dentist and his staff!!!

The dentist office decided to cancel my nephews appointment because he is handicap and needed medical transportation so because medical transportation isn’t reliable to them they can’t service him. Such shaming and disregard for him and his mom is gross!!

I've had nothing but great experiences here. I don't wait very long and they are very friendly.

They shamed my teeth in front of me and continued to do so throughout my entire appointment.

After scheduling an appointment multiple months ahead of time, they neglected to inform me until the day before my appointment that the hygienist I was scheduled to meet was no longer working there, and that they are booked out for the next year. Voicing my concerns about this on the phone prompted the person I was speaking to to interrupt and give memorized lines about their process of confirming appointments and excuses about how this process takes time. Tremendously disrespectful of not only the time I spent calling to follow up when I was told I'd be the one to receive a call, but also the day I set aside months in advance to drive an hour for an appointment. Would not recommend.

Scheduled an appointment in October, soonest they could get me in was February. They called the day before my appointment saying they were short staffed (understandable) and had to reschedule. Soonest appointment they offered me was July. When I explained that I called in October because of jaw pain and had already waited months for an appointment, they said they would put me on a call list and hung up on me before I could get any appointment date set. Understandable that everywhere is short staffed right now, but rude staff on the phone and poor practice management to reschedule so far out when it is the practices own scheduling error. Edit since attending the practice: I received an appointment reminder for an appointment that I did not know was scheduled months after this situation. This must have been booked by the front desk person that hung up on me. I was out of the country at the time I was unknowingly scheduled for and they rescheduled my appointment a few days later to accommodate. The dental hygienists and assistants were very friendly, personable, and seemed to know what they were doing. Dr. McCue was very brief but friendly as well. Turned out to be a good experience on the clinical side of things.

Do not go to McCue I was patient at Carthage had appointment and Carthage was a great dentist and looked for 2 years for a good one was happy called today about repair work from previous visit and my appointment they shut down Carthage office didn’t inform patients put them all to Watertown called them new patients and this was a year ago then said they are short staffed for a year that’s why patients weren’t informed I called 3 times during that year to see if I could get in sooner and was never told this and the number I called was Carthage number sent to Watertown not even told it was Watertown I was talking to when I said this is not only poor practice and rude it’s illegal to transfer me to another city without me knowing they said I could cancel appointment and look for a new dentist which I would have done if I was informed a year ago when they did it

Watertown Location: The worst experience I have ever had at a practice. Went in for a procedure for my daughter the first thing that I noticed was how dirty the floor was, it looked like it hadn't been maintained in some time the second thing I noticed is that there were USED TOOLS already on the table, out of package. After examining them closer I could clearly tell there was plaque and dried saliva on them. When I mentioned it to Dr. Mccue he berated and belittled me to his assistant because I didn't "witness" any one open the tools. Darn right, I didn't! When I asked him if he could sanitize the room and grab a new set of tools to be opened in front of me he continued to raise his voice and demeaned me to his assistant as if I were not standing right in front of him. I then told my daughter that we were leaving and refused to get the procedure done. He follow me and my daughter out in to the lobby were he continued to raise his voice at me, until I was embarrassed enough and asked him to stop talking to me. Not to mention, there are dogs walking around in and out of exam rooms where people are getting their teeth worked on. So very unsanitary. I recommend if you're child is allergic or afraid of larger dogs, don't even consider this place. There as never been a time that I went that they were not there. In fact, the darker haired dog nipped at my youngest and growled at my oldest. This place is so unprofessional and so EXTREAMLY unsanitary.

Horrible place. Avoid. Had an abscess was prescribed and uncommon antibiotic. It didn't work called and they prescribed the same one again. Showed up to two appointments. They told me I didn't have. I have the paperwork that says I do right from their system. No apologies no nothing. Transferred to their Brewerton office. Very unprofessional in Watertown

The staff was extremely nice, the dogs were great. I called in day before and they got me an appointment next day. I look at some of these negative reviews and am shocked it just seems so fake. The dentist guy was super nice and all the staff was super nice. Honestly this place deserves a better rating.

We brought our son to his first dentist appointment here and they were so patient and kind to him. I was worried because my son does not like strangers at all and fusses a bit. So of course it makes the appointment difficult for the staff. They talked to him, let dad hold him while they examined, didn’t seem bothered by my sons fussing and wariness. My son even took the goodie bag from them after. (He loves the little car) The Disney decor is super cute, my son kept pointing to all the art work and the adorable dogs. This was such a great experience for us and made a first time dentist appointment that we dreaded very pleasant. They also allowed both me and my husband to go in with him.

semi-nice staff, grungy rooms with dirt caked edges. scheduling is sporadic with massive gaps in appointments. if you are not a dog person probably not the best practice to go with. (specifically their Watertown location)
