All of my dental appointments at Pearl have been fabulous! The entire team, led by Dr. Anthony, are top notch. True professionals working in an upbeat and impeccable dental “office” space.

I had a wondering experience with Peal’s Tryon location! I honestly feel like this was the most thorough dentistry experience I have ever had. The front desk staff was amazing with getting me in quickly. Erica my hygienist was so sweet & knowledgeable explaining everything about my exam to me. Dr. Jenna went over the top with talking me through my options. I am so thankful to find a dentist office I truly love!

Great experience every time I go to Pearl!! Dr. Jenna Montminy is the best! I used to get anxiety when going to the dentist, especially for a cavity filling. I don't anymore though, it is such a smooth and simple process! Very friendly staff and dental hygienist as well! It is hard finding a good dentist that you can trust, so go ahead and just book your appointment at Pearl on Tryon with Dr. Jenna!

Appointments are on time! Procedures explained and share what to expect. Procedures completed right the 1st time. Very pleased with my service.

I'm so grateful to Chelsea and Dr. Jeni for their endless patience and kindness, especially during the last few weeks as we worked to create 3 new crowns. I have TMJ from an accident and holding my mouth "open wide" is extremely painful. Chelsea and Dr. Jeni recognize when I need a break and are so very gracious and kind in ensuring my comfort. Their work is superb and knowing they're there for me afterwards makes me feel really taken care of.

Love Pearl! I have been coming here for 4 years and have been a fan since day one. Space is great and super convenient if you work uptown. They always play the best music. Have TV's at each seat with anything you can imagine to choose from to watch. Hygienists and doctors are wonderful, skilled, nice, and so personable. Communication with the practice can be done via text which makes it so easy! Highly recommend!

Pearl has a wonderful team of employees! I always feel well cared for and heard. The technican constantly checked with me during my cleaning and immediately noticed when I got uncomfortable. I also love the TVs. They make for a great distraction during a longer procedure.

I just finished my veneer experience with Dr. Gandhi and Vickey and I cannot express how amazing it was! I felt my natural teeth were too small for my facial structure, the shape was too square from years of clenching/grinding, and the color wasn’t as white as I would have liked. Dr. Gandhi and Vickey fixed every single insecurity I had about my teeth! From my first consultation, I expressed my concern for having my natural teeth minimally touched. I let them know I was willing to go through the necessary steps in order to have my veneers done correctly not necessarily quickly! Dr. Gandhi and Vickey made these concerns a priority through every step and I truly felt they treated me as if they were doing veneers on one of their loved ones! Dr. Gandhi chose a care plan for me that included Invisalign and gum contouring before placing my veneers. These steps truly made the difference in the end result and took my veneers to the next level! Dr. Gandhi and Vickey communicated so clearly and honestly throughout every step, it took away any ounce of anxiety or nervousness I may have had. They were always readily available for my questions and constantly squeezed me in when my schedule got crazy (I’m a nurse who works 12 hour shifts). I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with through this process and would recommend them every time!

Have you ever heard of a dentist/business reaching out advising you that they have changed their business hours and your appointment (which has been scheduled for 6 months) has been canceled with no flexibility to reschedule? Well, now you have. I had a 5 pm appointment scheduled for 6 months, then got a text stating they don't take appointments after 4 pm anymore, and I'd have to reschedule--absolutely embarrassing way to run a business. I understand no longer scheduling new appointments for that time, but just cancel an existing appointment? That's insanity. Not to mention we just found out that they have lied about a couple of cavities that my girlfriend was told she had (first in years). She got a second opinion, and the "cavities" weren't even worth categorizing as a "watch." What they lack in professional and dental ability, they make up with office beauty, though, if that's all you care about.

The staff is fantastic!! Everyone is very friendly and professional. They also are very good about working with you when it comes to scheduling!

They have a pool table! That being said, I was given a referral to Ballentine Endodontics and after discovering they charge $500 for a consultation fee I made the decision to look for a second endodontist. I asked Pearl if they could recommend another endodontist and they said they would email me the info. I have yet to receive that info. I then called other competing endodontists for their pricing and discovered that 135$ is the going rate so I canceled my appointment with (cough, cough rip off!) Ballentine Endodontist. I tried to book another Endodontist and they explained they needed a “referral” from my primary dentist (Pearl Dentistry Reimagined, South Tryon street). If this is dentistry “reimagined” I think I will stick to my UNimagined version. I gave them 3 stars for the pool table which was fun to play.

I am enjoying my experience at Pearl. Dr. Anthony is awesome and explains each step of the process which is helpful at keeping me calm. He also has a good sense of humor which takes my mind off the sound of the dental.

Not a great experience with the patient/scheduling services team, my wife scheduled an appointment for an annual cleaning with them a week in advance. In spite of giving our Insurance details including the GroupId and Subscriber Id., they kept asking for my SSN on the phone. But, then we told them that we'll share that on the day of service. Guess what, just a couple of hours later, my wife got a call again from the dentistry, and this time the person on the phone was insisting on the SSN and I told them that they won't need those details since the insurance Ids should be good enough to verify the policy and that I am not comfortable providing our SSN on the phone, if needed we can share the information in person on the day of service. To that, he said that they'll have to charge us as an out-of-pocket service even though it's covered by our insurance since they don't verify the insurance policy on the day of service. Maybe this could be their policy but I never had to do that before and was a shocker to me. Even before trying their service, I got a reflection of their dentistry with the way I was treated. Not professional at all.
