I had an AMAZING experience with Dr. Bethea and staff! He came highly recommended by my cousin after being in pain with a toothache for a few days. I called on Wednesday at 3pm and was able to get an appointment for the next day. I went to my appointment and was just so pleased! Latevia, THANK YOU, from checking in to checking out (front office staff sets the atmosphere)!!! Dr. Bethea explained everything and just made me feel so comfortable! I love Dr. Bethea’s Family Dentistry so much! I mean as much as you can love a dentist office. They are honest, caring, and very gentle. My 9 year old needed to get a filling. Ouch! I was so scared of the dentist hurting him that I didn’t even want to go with him. I sent Dad instead. I am happy to report that my child didn’t even cry. He said the dentist did a good job and it didn’t hurt much at all. He just had a “fat lip.” Needless to say we are now lifelong patients. I even sent my mom to Dr. Bethea all the way from Rock Hill. She was extremely happy with him as her dentist! When I visited I was impressed with the lovely staff! They are pleasant and make everyone feel like family! The music selection is GREAT there too! If you’re still not sold after all of this, then I really don’t know what to tell you. Dr. Bethea’s Family Dentistry is worth all 5 stars and more. If you don’t believe me, try them for yourself.

Dr. Bethea along with his staff made me feel comfortable and safe. I am first time patient and the type of person that dreads the Dentist appointment. It is the drill for me. Lol.. I went in with the expectation that my mouth was in poor shape. I pleasantly surprised to find out it in was much better shape than expected. Dr. Bethea gave me options and let me make the decision on the next step for dental needs. Maya was patient with me while she cleaned my teeth. She said my teeth were white but I think it was the lighting. 🙂 Great first experience and you know that is hard to find in Columbia,, S.C. I suggest other Dentist or Doctors follow their Model. KG

Dr. Bethea and staff are awesome! An issue that I've been to numerous specialty doctors in the last 9 months about, he and my tech took the time to gain understanding and suggest a possible diagnosis, that really makes the most sense based on my symptoms. I initially learned about this dentist through a mail advertisement and immediately wanted to go as my primary dental office but sadly they were not in network for me. Seems like I just needed to wait a little longer for my network to update. By this time, I had already had another dentist and had my first bi-annual cleaning and a filling done. Had a bad experience and other ailments followed. I came to Bethea for a second opinion and when I say I have never been treated more like family! I wish I would have just waited until my insurance company updated the system. I’m absolutely pleased and have already switched my dentist and will never leave! I walked in and was seen the exact same day! The staff is professional, warm and inviting and Dr. Bethea is so down to earth and thorough. Thank you for being so accessible, caring and convenient!

This is the only time in life where I actually did not feel a thing during a root canal. In the pass they were so painful I would go back and beg the military denist to just take the tooth. Dr. Bethea said I would not feel nothing and he delivered. The staff is amazing and he is local, so it is also well to put back into our community. I don't know I'm big on supporting small local businesses.
