I had a really bad tooth ache and needed to get into a dentist fast. Devine Dentistry was able to get me in right away so I set up an appointment. I was excited to learn that if I got my cavity filled or tooth pulled, whatever the case, they wouldn't charge me for the office visit. After the exam, Dr. Brantly said I either needed to get a root canal or have the tooth pulled. I unfortunately didn't have insurance so there was no way I could have gotten a root canal. I told him I didn't have insurance and would just need to have the tooth pulled. He actually apologized for his rude reaction to me not having insurance, I felt about 2 inches tall. I asked if I could just set up an appointment to have it pulled and mentioned the free exam that the receptionist told me about. He then told me that because of the way the root of my tooth was, he could not pull it and I would have to see an oral surgeon. I paid my $100 bill and I call the oral surgeon. They quoted me about $500 to pull the tooth. I didn't have that kind of money so I called Shandon Family Dentistry and and explained my problem. They were able to get me in right away and Dr. Desai said it was a simple extraction and was able to pull my tooth for $150! I haven't had any problems and Dr. Desai did a great job. I wouldn't recommend Devine Dentistry to anyone! Shandon Dentistry is much more affordable and I believe much more trust worthy!!
