On August 23, 2022 I had a scheduled six months teeth cleaning appointment with Solomon Family Dentistry at Carnes Crossing. My Dental Hygienist, Shari Cofresi did an excellent cleaning for which on a scale of 1-5 stars, she gets a 5.
As for Dr. Peper, he entered the room, greeted me and proceeded to glove up without washing his hands. I politely asked him to wash his hands (standard protocol to prevent the spread of bacteria). Dr. Peper left the room, passing the basin, and was gone for an unreasonable amount of time. Upon my assessment of the time I had waited without an explanation for the delay, I left the practice without receiving an oral exam/cleaning inspection by a Doctor of Dentistry. I knew I was the next patient in line to be seen as the pattern had been in the past.
Dr. Peper rate a 0 star in my care on August 23, 2022.
Needless to say, my preference for a dentist would not be Dr. Peper.
I'm sharing this in hopes another patient would not experience what I experienced.

I had a terrible experience at the dentist about 8 years ago. They did a root canal with no numbing medicine. I hadn’t been back since. My wife talked me into going. Dr Dysart has helped me regain my trust in dentist again. It’s been a pleasant experience seeing her. Really the whole staff makes you feel welcomed and go out of there way to make your feel comfortable.

My dentist is amazing, however, the hygienist that worked with him today used cavi-wipe to clean an instrument after using it, an attempted to use the same gloves to insert into my mouth for an impression of my tooth. It appeared as if she did not like the idea of changing her gloves after being asked. Later on, she dropped an item on the floor, picked it up, grabbed the cavi-wipe, clean the item, place the item on the tray, and started the process / imaging for a crown - not changing her gloves. Definitely not a good representation for Solomon dentistry, in my opinion

Dr Wishnow is the best. Enjoy going to him. All the staff is wonderful as well. Dr Wishnow is always great about making sure you get the great service either by him or sending you to a specialist. Megan & Sherri are the best techs there!
