Review of Mitchell Family Dental
Mitchell Family Dental:
Mitchell Family Dental is a dental clinic located at 205 E 4th Ave, Mitchell, South Dakota. The clinic specializes in dental services and offers a wide range of treatments, including fillings, extractions, cleanings, and more. The clinic is open from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The clinic has received mixed reviews from its customers. Some customers have praised the clinic for its caring and wonderful staff, while others have criticized the clinic for its poor service. One customer complained about the front desk receptionist being extremely rude and charging customers for last-minute cancellations or rescheduling. Another customer complained about the dentist's poor job, stating that the fillings broke soon after they were done and that the dentist did not wait for the numbing agent to fully kick in before starting the procedure, resulting in excruciating pain.
Despite the mixed reviews, Mitchell Family Dental is still a viable option for those seeking dental services in the area. The clinic accepts Medicaid, which is a plus for those who have limited options. The clinic's hours are also convenient for those who work during the day. However, it is recommended that customers do their research and read reviews before making an appointment at the clinic.

I am not one who leaves reviews often but this needs to be talked about. First thing I have to say is that the front desk receptionist is extremely rude. Be warned that if you ever have to cancel or reschedule your appointment last minute you will be charged. If you cannot reach them by telephone do not bother leaving a voicemail because they never check them and then they still charge you for not showing up. If you change your appointments three times they will no longer see you. The dentist was a nice guy, but had no clue what he was doing. When they first give you the numbing agent they don’t wait for it to fully kick in before they give you the shot to numb the rest of your mouth. After they give you the shot they waited about two minutes which isn’t nearly long enough for that stuff to kick in before he starts working on your teeth. Which means you feel it all and it is very painful. Next, they don’t use medication on your teeth which they need to if you have a cavity. He did such a poor job that within a week all of the fillings he made broke and my teeth were in even more excruciating pain. Even though they may be the only place in town at that excepts Medicaid do not go there. You will regret it. They literally rush through everything and don’t take time on your teeth. I am not a vindictive person and I am not saying this because I had one bad experience. I went there three times hoping things would be different each time. It was consistent and I am saying this because I do not want anybody to go through what I went through. I was naïve and did not listen to the people who told me not to see him. I saw him because he was the only one who took Medicaid and now I regret it because now I have more damage done to my teeth
