When I needed emergency tooth removal, Carpenter Dental got me in right away. Dr. Post was a dream come true!! She and her assistants’ bedside manner was impeccable!!! I was so well taken care of and I’m eternally grateful for their help. I’m two weeks out from the procedure and I feel great. Also, my mom and my sister recommended them because they also love their dentists there and they worked with all of us on payments. I’m so thankful that I never have to deal with those painful teeth ever again, thank you so much Dr. Post!!!

When I get compliments about my smile I wish people knew how sensitive and troublesome my teeth/gums are, and how much I dread “going to the dentist”!
Upon moving to the Black Hills, the team at Carpender Dental has always made sure I have everything I need for a successful appointment.
They genuinely understand my ridiculous anxiety (they luckily never took my past experiences personal) and they make sure I am completely comfortable every single time.
It is a huge relief that the staff knows my routine and always remember my preferences!
I should also mention I’ve had Chad Carpender transform an awful chip on my front tooth, fill cavities, graft a handful of spots for gum recession, and more. I’ve always been pleased with the results and genuinely grateful for everything he has done.
I recently brought my 15 month old in for his 1st appointment. They made it fun and I am excited for my son to associate “going to the dentist” as a positive experience, as it really is something we should all look forward to!

I have never felt more taken care of at a dental office than I was at Carpenter.
From the first call I made I knew I had found a facility that truly cared.
I had been dealing with some severe pain for a long time ( fear of dentists and more importantly surprise costs) and I couldn't take it anymore so I called Carpenter Dental and asked if there was a way to be seen for the tooth that was causing the problem. I had explained that I had been having a difficult time eating due to another tooth that was also having an issue.
I spoke with a WONDERFUL woman named Gale (Gail) who talked me through everything, assisted with help with my insurance and helped me get an appointment as quickly as she could.
Then, I was taken by Dr. Reiman (sorry if I misspelled) and not only did she help with the tooth that was causing my pain but she helped with the other tooth as well. Temporary fixes to a problem that I need to see a specialist for but she got me out of pain. She did what I have been trying to do for months and during the appointment the hygienist assistant Kristin talked to me to make me comfortable the whole time.
Multiple other Doctors only treated the surface problem or told me to take Ibuprofen to manage pain. She actually helped me.
At the end of the appointment I had a renewed trust and felt better than I have in longer than I care to remember.
This review is the only way I can think to tell them how much they helped me.
So thank you to all the wonderful workers who helped me when I thought I had no options left.

Carpenter Dental is a great place to go if you have dental anxiety. Before coming here, I hadn't seen a dentist for almost 2 1/2 years. I was extremely nervous, and the staff made me feel comfortable with being there. Now, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my dental needs.

I never thought I would say this, but I LOVE CARPENTER DENTAL! I have always not gone to the dentist because I have had real anxiety about it! I am also disabled and Hard of Hearing/Deaf. They have been absolutely wonderful the moment I made the appointment to the moment I had to get cavities filled. They not only accommodated my disability without me having to remind ANYONE, they accommodated my anxiety. I actually ENJOYED going and getting the work done. They weren't just courteous, they were KIND! I look forward to continuing to go to the dentist and take my family! If you have Anxiety or fear of going to the dentist, I Highly Recommend Carpenter Dental, they will change your life!

I have been a patient at Carpenter Dental for over 10 years and have always had the very best experience during my visits, no matter who I see. This past year, my daughter started her orthodontic journey. She had just gotten work done locally in town and had part of it cutting into her mouth. Our orthodontist's office was adamant that they couldn't get her in for a few days. We called Dr. Carpenter, and without hesitation, he said bring her in. He and a dental assistant stayed late on a Friday evening to help when the orthodontist wouldn't. He took care of the issue and made my daughter feel so much better! Cannot say enough good things about Chad Carpenter and his staff. From the second i walked in the door it was nothing but smiles, great service and top-tier work. I was watching golf and getting my back massaged by the chair most of the process. I walked in nervous and left almost wanting to go back the next day! They changed my views of dentistry!!
