Todays Dental, Dr. Mike Allport

THE DENTIST CAME IN AND TALKED OVER MY CASE AND GAVE HIS RECMONDATIONS FOR THINGS TO WORK ON AND THINGS we may have to do in the future. He really put me at ease, spoke in a real calm voice ask me if I had any questions, ask me what I've up to. He even brought up the topics that I had talked with him at my previous appointment it makes me feel that he had really listen to me the last time I was in. I'm really terrible with names but that's a delightful young lady that cleaned my teeth really did a outstanding job I could tell she took pride in their job. I. no reason to look any further to find a better place to get my teeth cleaned. I have had a cap put on and a cap replaced the whole procedure was painless and professional first class operation. They worked hard on the covid spacing and I felt at ease with this situation they did a nice job.

I don't have anything bad to say about this place. They're friendly, professional, and I never have to wait. Whether it's billing or the procedure being done they explain everything in a very easy to understand way. I didn't have insurance for a little over 10 years, and I had 11 cavities which was about what I was expecting. They were very warm and non judgemental about how horrible my teeth looked. All around a great place to get dental work done.

From day one of going to Dr Allport’s office, my family and I have been treated with kindness, respect and leave with a smile on our face. Dr Allport never fails to have a good story and a smile to share. He is always friendly, caring and calls each of us by name. Kristie is who we saw until about 3 years ago and she is amazing! She has made me several wreaths that I continue to use over the years, cleans my super sensitive teeth and makes sure to protect them with her special medicine that helps with sensitivity, and never fails to make us feel at home in her chair. Now we all see Shemya and we all love her stories from the Philippines, her kindness and love for Jesus. Never a dull moment in her chair! Jalena is no longer there but she has always been the first and last smile we saw. She will be missed and someone has big shoes to fill. The lady at the front now has worked there for years and always is super nice. She like all the others is a peaceful smile that will make even the most nervous person walking in- feel at ease. Rhea county is blessed to have such an amazing dentist office group of friendly faces and beautiful smiles.

I hate going to the dentist because I have TMJ in both jaws. After years of avoiding any dentist I went to one. I did not have a good experience with that one but needed to go for a crown that came off. I went to Dr Allport instead and never regretted it. He and his staff understand the pain of TMJ and do everything they can to prevent discomfort. Highly recommend

Dentist and hygienist were friendly and professional. They showed an interest in me as a person and not simply as a patient. I was very pleased with the care I received and would recommend Today's Dental to anyone.

Staff is extremely friendly & atmosphere is comfortable. Giving 1 star because I am always quoted one price & told my insurance will cover this service for this amount & when i receive my bill, its quadruple what I'm quoted.. usually just for filings! When I call to see why, the receptionist always says she doesnt know and to call my insurance. Insurance always makes it sound like the dentist should have known it wouldnt be covered, then I'm always left with a huge bill and feel like I'm the one who did something wrong. Ironically, this has happened to several other people I've spoken with who used to go here. It appears this office "misquotes" customers more often than they should. Not to mention, all of the fillings I've had do not match my tooth color at all. You can see all of them clearly. I hate that I'm going to have to choose another dentist but I cannot afford to keep getting treated this way. I want an honest quote when I ask for one and I feel like I'm being conned.

This is the best Dentist! Wonderful, Positive atmosphere. They cater to their patients and make you feel like family! I got my smile and my self confidence back when they were done with my dental work! I recommend them to everyone!!!!!

Dr. David Allport and his Awesome staff are the absolute best in the Dental profession. They are extremely courteous and conscience of their patients needs and expectations. By far the BEST and most professional dentist that I have ever been to!
