Dental Excellence PC

I've been going to Dental Excellence for many years now, and I've had a lot of different procedures. I think the whole office staff and the dentist himself knows my name. I've never had a bad experience. They made me less afraid of the dentist. I will be a patient forever I guess.

I always have a great experience here. Everyone is friendly and when they are performing any work on you, they always talk to you through the entire process to let you know what’s going on. Dr. Dagen is a great dentist who seems to care for his patients and his team.

They are courteous, professional and a pleasure. The latter is the most important thing because saying going to the dentist is a pleasure really says a whole lot.

Excellent service as usual! Great dentists, knowledgeable staff, and impeccable Lu clean office!

Dr. Lindsey and his staff provide excellent customer care. They have taken care of me and my family for 20 years. The office staff takes extra time to make sure I have everything I need like family.

I don't write reviews very often, but after four extremely positive interactions with Dr Dagen and the staff at Dental Excellence PC, I felt that it was important to share my positive impressions. By the way, I'm going to go into some detail here because I find short reviews unhelpful, so skip on down to the last paragraph if you want the short version.

First of all, the front office staff are incredible. In most medical visits, I typically either don't notice the front office staff or get annoyed by the endless gossip that can be overheard from the waiting room, but in this case they have only ever been friendly and professional. It also helps that I never have to wait more than 5-10 minutes to be seen by the hygienist, I wish more offices operated like this. We all have lives and I think we'd rather do anything than sit in a dental office.

Next up are the friendly hygienists who have been very thorough and actually have constructive tips to offer rather than the endless stream of reprimands for not flossing enough I've gotten from my last dentist office. I worked with Tammy L today who was awesome, I think I may have also worked with Tammy M and Renae who were likewise great, I just can't remember the details from a year ago. Basically you are going to spend most of your time with the hygienists in any dental office, find one with good people.

Finally, Dr Dagen is one of the friendliest dentists I've had the pleasure of working with. He's knowledgeable, outgoing and supportive. He didn't try to upsell services I don't need like the last dentist I went to (they tricked me once into getting their not-covered-by-insurance-gum-disease treatment) but was honest about services I could benefit from. For example, I had some slightly yellowed teeth and he told me about their whitening treatment, but also told me that it wasn't something that I needed at that point. I appreciated his honesty and after considering the price and personal benefit (I'm a children's librarian that spends too much time with the public) I ended up purchasing it anyway because I never felt forced into it.

Oh and the technology is awesome and very much needed in more dental offices. You can make appointments online and get text message reminders. The computer screens in the offices show your past history and scans of the x-rays so you can see specifically where you have cavities. I also really liked the voice to text transcriber that took notes on my gum levels. The hygienist was able to call out the numbers and the computer would mark them down on each tooth. It might be somewhat unnecessary, but as a techie geek, I thought it was incredible and it made the process of sticking a metal hook in my gums so much faster than usual.

Summary: Dr Dagen is friendly, helpful and doesn't push the hard sell for unneeded services. The hygienists don't belittle you for not brushing and flossing enough and I actually learned something useful about how to brush and floss more effectively. They actually stick to their appointment times and it's never very difficult to get an appointment, not waiting around for months to get an opening. Great dentist office, highly recommend.

Recent consultation was awesome and to the point. Dr Cooner and staff were professional, courtesy and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Hands down one of the best dental offices I have ever had the privilege of visiting. The employees were friendly, funny, gentle and charming. This is the only dental office I will go to in Memphis, TN.

I've always had an great experience here coming through the door, the receptionist are wonderful in assisting you to the dental hygienist taking you to your room, everything they do is great in helping you take care of your mouth, I forgot don't forget the Doctors they do a great job explaining what they're going to do and what you needed to do. I love my dental excellence family They are GRRREAT!!!

Best Dentist I have had my entire life! Staff is so friendly. Hygienist Kathleen is the BEST!
