Advana Dental & Dentures

My mother has called many times trying to solve a bill she received. Insurance said it was paid however she never received a bill from the office and therefore it was sent to collections. The person in charge of billing has been very rude and very unprofessional. Saying things like "Can't you just pay your small portion." She claims her name is Abby, and we have heard her multiple times while in the office talking about other patients, saying things like "He's just mad he can't afford to pay his $$$ bill." All staff that worked on our teeth were absolutely wonderful. It is such a shame to see a business be ruined by 1 person. This 1 person made our whole experience very unpleasant.

If I could, I would rate this place a zero. I drove over an hr and a half for my appt that was scheduled for 1pm. I was not told to come early. I thought I was prepared seeing as to how I filled out the new patient paperwork online. I came to the facility after 12, however the doors were locked for their lunch. I decided to get a quick bite to eat nearby. I walked in to check in approx 3 to 4 minutes after 1pm. Front desk receptionist told me because I was late my appt was canceled and I would have to reschedule or can try and get seen today if someone did not come in for the appt. Im from out of town and cannot just wait around hoping someone doesnt show with the possibility of not being seen at all today. She proceeded to tell me they always ask everyone to come atleast 15 mins before the appt for new patient paperwork. I explained the door was closed for lunch and I filled out the paperwork online. She said the facility opens atleast 10mins or so early before 1pm and the online form does not work. Again, I drove from out of town. I basically did not have a choice and told her i would find some other dentist. By the time I sat in my car after speaking with her, it was 1:07 pm according to my car and phone clock. So I know I was near my scheduled time of 1pm. I have never been turned away for that short amount of time. I was fortunate enough to find a dentist that took me in as a walk-in for my extraction.
The new dental office I found was very courteous and accommodating to me and my needs even with them being short staffed and busy. So I guess in short it was a blessing Advana turned me away. I will not refer nor go to Advana ever again.

The nurses & doctors were awesome. They were very quick and very helpful. They did the x-rays and set up a treatment plan. They were kind and understanding, to help come up with the best plan. I definitely recommend them on that note, however I wish I could say the same about the people who take of helping you get financing for a large amount 😕. They did not call like they said, on days they said or even return calls when you try to get in touch with them. That's why I gave them 3 stars.

Hardly any waiting when scheduled appointments are set. Willing to answer all your questions. Great experience so far with my dentures.

Edit: Everything was great until someone scheduled me for a cleaning I didn’t ask for. And I rescheduled that appt to fix my dentures but they still had me scheduled for cleaning. Then they were rude because they got called out for their mistake. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST. The people must have changed at some point because the ones I dealt with last year weren’t this mistake prone. So I wasted thousands of dollars on Bad fitting dentures. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!!!!!

Tooth pulled 5 days ago. Extraction went pain free (except for the shots) and quickly. 5 days later and still no pain. That's not normal. My first visit and definitely not the last.

Sorry, I consider the organization to be less than honest. I called to inquire about dentures and whether my insurance would cover some costs. They said they couldn't tell me things like that over the phone. I was to make an appointment and bring my insurance card in for evaluation. BEFORE any price was mentioned Advana insisted I needed a panoramic x-ray of my mouth. I cautioned them I was not going to pay for any exam. They said don't worry, if my insurance wasn't accepted I would pay nothing. Guess what? My insurance wasn't any good for them and I get a monthly statement saying I owe $170.

The staff was very quick and efficient. I’m a new patient and they were able to process all of my new information very quickly and without any issue. I was happy with my experience and am glad I chose them as my new dental care provider.

I really have enjoyed going to Advana! The staff are Great and the Doctor Is Awesome. I have recommend My Family and Friends. I also recommend You reading this review, To go here as well. Thanks Advana for Your Amazing Service to me and My Family.

On the whole I have been happy with Advana. But this visit was very unsatisfactory. The dental assistant did not listen to me. She asked if there was a problem with my bite. I told her No. I explained the problem is that the bottom plate is rocking causing clicking. Becoming less satisfied with Advana as time passes

Great experience! Professional and caring! Took my mom to gets some work done and she/we were very please with the outcome. Everyone made her feel comfortable and reassured her that everything would be okay. Great place and people!
