Advana Dental & Dentures

Very disappointed with this place. I went in last year because I need 4 fillings so I paid the price up front. The dentist did it and afterwards I was in so much pain, I couldn’t even drink water. So I called and they scheduled me in to see the dentist. He takes x-rays says that there is nothing wrong and just puts pain reliever on the teeth. Well... I kept going through pain and I called again and nothing they could do for me. So I went to see another dentist. The filling was done incorrectly (actually all of them were) and it killed my nerve so I had to get a root canal. My new dentist tells me to go back and get my fillings fixed so I go back and this time I see the other dentist (Dr. Sharma I believe ?) he agrees: my fillings are not done properly. So he redos them. Well he did it too late because now I have damage on another of those teeth with the fillings and have to get a SECOND root canal. Thanks a lot guys, I’m barely in my 20s and I already have two dead teeth because of your inability to take in your patient’s concerns. The dentist should have realized he had done something wrong the afternoon I went in complaining of pain. But I guess he did not want to re-do the work. This is ridiculous. I hope if someone is considering them, please go to another place. Also their front desk staff is quite rude.

Edit: to their response. I did go in! Complainting immediately of pain and your dentist took xrays and refused to acknowledge that there was a problem. Don’t try to blame this on the patient. This dentist also has a track record of doing terrible fillings that lead to root canals (look at the reviews on their Facebook page) so for your sake and your teeth, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

Returning to ADVANA Dental for treatments was another Joyful visit.
(I believe her name is Theresa) greeted me with excitement and Professionalism that is rare in many-such-settings. <-This calmed me, knowing that the equipment, chemicals and techniques used in many Medical professions can result in any outcome (Good or Bad) - especially in current situations as dire as the pandemics (Covar, etc. virus, etc.) the world is facing.

I BRAG about my visits to ADVANA Dental as often as I can.

Many who hear my ^ banter think that you must walk carefully upon the clouds, overhead by your skill, talent and Professionalism.

My mother in law Sonia always praises Dr Sharma on his kindness and professionalism every time she goes and I’m writing this review to say Thank you for all you do to make her feel comfortable in a situation she has always been so nervous about going to the dentist but he has changed her outlook.

Once again, l am very satisfied with the care that I received. The staff is professional, efficient, friendly, and pleasant. I am not a big fan of dental procedures, but Advanta is changing my view about that.

So I went for a consult after 12 yrs of fear because of a previous awful experience with another denture place and was pretty well pleased. Any and all questions were answered and very obliging. I can't comment on they're service yet because I haven't had anything done but they are as of now my first choice. They eased my fear.

This place really surprised me! I had an emergency when visiting a friend in Amarillo. I accidentally cracked my tooth on some popcorn. I'm so afraid of the dentist and I didn't want to go but I was in terrible pain. So I made an appointment here after searching for dentist in the area and Dr. Sharma took really good care of me. The staff was genuine and I could tell they really care. I definitely recommend this dental office.

I have been coming here a few years now. The staff is friendly and do a good job . The hygienist is very friendly. I feel comfortable coming here

I find it hilarious that they have so many good reviews. I have never had good luck at this place. I never knew what dentist I would see. The hygenists were talking about their personal lives while I was in the chair waiting for the Dentist. I had three fillings that were done terribly. Totally ridiculous!

Rude staff. Lady schedules appointments by phone, get there shes waiting on walk -ins in front of you, then says "you're late we have to see if we can work you back in the schedule". Seemed to gouge every customer that walked in behind me. Adding extra costs of "you NEED this" or "it's been too long so let's do it again". Typical price gouging of a medical office. Can't even consult with the doctor without a fee. Would rather be somewhere else but this isn't for me.

I would highly recommend advana dental to my friends and family. Staff is very knowledgeable and caring. The receptionist, Abby was very nice and accommodating. Will be back for future dental needs. Thank you Advana dental.
