The front staff were extremely nice, helpful, and a kid friendly place. My girls were by no means patient, lol.. but the staff were. There was a tech who helped me in the beginning who had the sweetest heart.

Update I had my wisdom teeth removed! Such a smooth process!! They made me feel comfortable and were extremely helpful. 10/10 recommend.

After moving to the area 18 months ago I had not picked a Dental office to take care of my teeth. It took a broken tooth and emergency to get me to pick one. I am glad I picked Bastrop Modern Dentistry. They got me in quick and had all the skills and equipment in office to fix and place a crown in just a few hours instead of several visits. I will definitely set up my regular cleaning and dental care through them.

Admittedly in five years in Texas I’ve yet to find the best dentist; I have, however, seemed to have found the worst.

A casual search for someone to clean my teeth biannually was expedited when a tooth broke, and I went in for an exam at Bastrop Modern Dentistry.

It took two hours - not to fix the tooth, but to take over a dozen x-rays, half due to the wrong side of my mouth being surveyed the first time. I get it, not everyone knows right from left. Then I waited and waited for what seemed like a thirteen year old dentist to come in and tell me what they told me on the phone before I had arrived. A month and a half later, I went in for a two hour appointment to get a root canal and cavity filled.

The young doctor tried three times to numb me but could not. I know it was operator error because when the older dentist came in, he did it with just one shot.

What ensued was nothing less than a fiasco. A two hour appointment became nearly twelve hours in the dentist chair over three days.

Here I sit, a month or so later. My tooth hurts still. There are rough edges and gaps around the bottom of the crown that catch food worse than before I went to Bastrop Modern Dentistry. I’d had a followup visit scheduled with them, but two hours before my appointment, which I took off work for, they called to say they cancelled my appointment because they had other appointments to get to. They said they’d call me back - two weeks later, I haven’t heard anything.

Sincerely,
4:30am toothache.

I had a appointment today and it was Amazing, Ashley the office manager was very helpful and informative, she really did an amazing job helping me with my plan for future dental work, Tiffany also helped me and did an Amazing job with Everything. Thank you so much to you both for being there for me today!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! THE CALL CENTER BOOKS YOU AN APPOINTMENT THAT THE LOCAL OFFICE WILL NOT HONOR. To locate an oral surgeon for my son's wisdom tooth extraction, I called for days to this office, leaving a voicemail each time I called, with no return call. Then, this AM I received an email (a week after trying to speak with someone) instructing me to create an account to review my appointment. Confused, I called the call center. They confirmed the date and time of my son's appointment and asked me to drop off the referral and x-rays today. When I arrived at the office, I WAS TOLD THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS SINCE JANUARY 2023, and there was nothing she could do to help me. I EXPLAINED, "THE CALL CENTER INFORMED ME THAT THEY BOOKED THIS APPOINTMENT THRU THE OPERATIONS MANAGER." I then asked, "How could this error occur... is the call center and the Operations Manager unaware that they are not accepting new patients?" I explained that I had canceled an appointment once this one was confirmed because this location was closer. She said she was "SORRY!" IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD IS IN PAIN... DON'T GO HERE! I WASTED DAYS ON A CALL-BACK THAT NEVER CAME. AND ONCE AGAIN, I AM TRYING TO FIND A DENTIST TO ASSIST MY SON WITH A WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION THAT IS VERY PAINFUL!!!

UPDATE! MY OPINION HAS NOT CHANGED. After getting this GENERIC response, I called AS REQUESTED IN THIS RESPONSE. I once again received the call center, who informed me BASTROP MODERN DENTISTRY has to inform them they are NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS and the call centers records DO NOT SHOW they are not accepting new clients, which is why I was given an appointment! SOOOO.... if they are REALLY not accepting new patients, and HAVE NOT BEEN SINCE JANUARY 2023, as I was told in person at the office on yesterday, why does the call center not know this? I QUESTION... IS THERE MORE GOING ON HERE? COULD IT BE THEY DID NOT WANT TO ACCEPT MY SON AS A PATIENT BECAUSE OF HIS INSURANCE??? *What... not going to make any money on this patient???*Hmmm-mmm

My husband and I love the services and personnel. We highly recommend them for any dental problems you may have.

Medical “professionals” have a real attitude if you show up 5 minutes late for an appointment, but have no problem with having you wait an hour or more once you’re there.
I always show up on time. Why can’t they.

I am a big baby when it comes to the dentist. I have ignored (really avoided) dental care for a long time, which has inevitably caused problems.

I was super impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of all of the staff and Dr. Ravi. They continuously reassured me throughout my appointments that I was handling things well. They listened to my concerns and priorities and never tried to pressure me into unnecessary high cost procedures.

I received several phone calls requesting that I fill out pre-visit paperwork, which had been done and alerted me to slight disorganization in the front office. Multiple X-rays were taken, measurements on my gums, much more detailed services than I’ve ever experienced at my dentist of 20 yrs in Dallas. Then I was left waiting in the freezing cold exam room for 20 min before I finally went to the front desk to see if they had forgotten about me. They apologized for the long wait explaining they were working with a new system…please train and work out your issues on your own time, not mine! When the hygienist finally came in 45 min later, she began cleaning my teeth with ultrasound tool that sent electric shocks thru my teeth, very painful. My teeth have always been easy to clean, never a problem as I go faithfully every 6 months for cleanings. I had to get up and leave without getting a cleaning. Fortunately there was no
Charge. The dentist seemed nice but only saw him for about 5 min of my 2 hour ordeal. Never had an issue in my life at any dental office but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Would not recommend this office to anyone

I woke up during the procedure, I asked them to stop and the just held down my legs and head until finished, didn’t even put me back to sleep.
