The Dentists, PLLC

My husband and I both look forward to our visits with the team at The Dentists. We appreciate getting reminders about areas that need additional attention to continue to improve our dental health.
Thank you Dr. Smith for your Great Team who has been kind and welcoming, thorough about any changes, conscious about Covid-19 guidelines, masking and social distancing, knowledgeable and honest.

When we first moved to Bastrop, our real estate agent recommended The Dentists. I've been going there since we arrived in 2011 and have been very satisfied, particularly with the staff -- who actually take vacations together -- and with Dr. Smith (the dentist I have seen exclusively). Their equipment is the latest, the most modern, complete with computers in the examining rooms where my records can be reviewed and updated on the spot. Keri, the hygienist who regularly sees me, is kind and friendly and seems to really care about me and my dental progress. I highly recommend them in all respects.

It had been a few years since I had been to the dentist and moving to Texas, I had to find a new dentist. The Dentists came highly recommended. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by someone on the administrative staff to the time I left after having seen the hygienist and doctor it's clear that the patient experience is important to this practice. They informed me every step of the way and made me feel very comfortable.

All of the personnel and Drs at "The Dentists" are pleasant and very helpful. They explain each step, and why it is necessary. I am a person that dreads a visit to the dentist, but, "The Dentists" put me at ease.
With my visit on 04 June, 2019, nothing has changed, still courteous, still explain steps, put me at ease, and met a new Dr., and she was like she had been there for years. These reasons are why I will continue to go to "The Dentists".
For my visit on 05 Dec, 2019, things remain constant, friendly, helpful staff that starts as soon as one checks in putting one at ease. this continues through the entire appointment. All are extremely knowledgeable and efficient. I leave with a good feeling each visit!!!

The Dentists has to be one of the most professional and wonderful dentists office in the state. I always receive incredible service when I have an appointment. Kari, specifically, takes awesome care of me and my teeth. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They are all amazing.

I have spent a great deal of my childhood and adult life in the dentist's chair and I have to say that the entire staff at The Dentists have been great. Very gentle and actually relaxing during cleanings. I highly recommend them.

The entire staff is just great. I've never been a fan of going to the dentist since I was a kid. Dr Smith is gentle and does a great job. Explains everything shes doing and always makes sure I'm not feeling any discomfort or any anxiety. Melanie does all my cleanings and she's terrific. I'll be moving away this year, but I will always come back for any procedure and cleanings throughout the year. I actually enjoy every staff member there. Why isn't Melanie in the photo??

A very nice facility with state of the art equipment. The entire staff were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. As first time patients, my wife and I were very appreciative of the in depth exam provided and the amount of time our care givers spent with us. Kudos to our Dental Hygienists Kari and Jessica and Kudos to Dr. Koppuzha.

Five plus stars for "The Dentists"! Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and very knowledgable. Dr. Smith, is is incredible! My biggest concern is always the "needle" for fillings. It was a piece of cake. I have never had that experience at a dental office. I highly recommend getting x-rays when due. I opted to skip the x-rays. Luckily for me, Ashley found a serious tooth issue while cleaning.my teeth. Special thanks to Ashley and her expertise. I know I won't be skipping x-rays in the future.

I have been going to The Dentists for about 10 years and wouldn't think of going to any other dentist. They run a very friendly office and all the gals and Dr's. are not only friendly but have the latest up to date equipment and makes the dental work a lot less painful than a lot of the old equipment did. Everyone who works there treats everyone with respect and kindness. You can't go wrong by going to this group of dentists and the office folks, they are like one big family. As bad as I hate going to the dentist I don't mind going here and I have to go every 4 months for gum problems. Give them a try you won't regret it!!!
This a just a short update to my review. I have recently lost 2 of my teeth and Dr. Lewis took care of it for me. I haven't met a sweeter, nicer and more concerned dentist since I left Las Vegas which was way back in 2004. She has a wonderful bedside?? manner and worries about making sure your numb before she starts. You will feel very comfortable with Dr. Lewis and trust her very fast. I still hate going to the dentist but when you have a Dr. you trust it's not as bad as before. Try them, the whole office staff will do everything possible to work with you and take wonderful care of you!!! This is a edit to my posting about The Dentists in Bastrop I gave them a glowing post but now have to take all that back. They have raised their prices so much if you don't have dental insurance (which I don't)you better find somewhere else to go. For 2 fillings they charged me nearly $600. Too me that's a bit much and for a cleaning is $ 125. They have gone a bit overboard as far as I can tell.
