1st off, Thank you for your hospitality Melissa, Katherine, Dr. Gallop and the super nice Oregon duck fan at the front desk. My family and I have recently moved here from AZ where my Mom has worked in 2 different dental offices over the last 20+ yrs and my brother is a pediatric dentist going on 6+ yrs. I have become extremely spoiled in my dental experiences over the years therefore quite demanding. I have near perfect teeth (my opinion) despite my lack of properly taking care of them (I always had a dentist in my back pocket just in case) but my wife on the other hand has numerous dental issues since giving birth to our 4 boys. Dr. Gallop and his team took amazing time and care in reviewing her X-Rays and noticed a barely visible mass growing in her gums and protruding into her sinus. Utilizing my "back pocket dentist" we requested the X-Rays from Gallop via email which they sent within 5 minutes of hanging up with them so we could forward to my brother in AZ. Within the matter of an hour we had more dentists and doctors reviewing these X-rays across multiple states than you could ever imagine. Every one of the dentists and doctors that view the x-rays commented on how impressed they were with Dr. Gallops ability to read the x-rays (doesn't come natural to most Dr's) and attention to detail to locate such a mere blip on the x-ray screen something that could potentially be cancerous or deadly and with my younger brother just recovering from ENT (form of brain cancer) we were prompt and precise in determining whether or not we were going to get freaked out over this. After visiting an ENT and getting a CT scan the following day we were able to determine it benign. Thank God.... I tell you all this because we truly feel it takes a very special person and team to recognize the most minor details in order to provide the utmost care you would expect from all doctors and dentists that in this day in age is getting harder and harder to come by.

My husband was in major pain and needed a tooth removed. Katherine was great, and made us an appointment right away and said they would have no problem doing the procedure. When my husband arrived, he questioned the cost of the procedure for the tooth removal. Katherine told my husband it was around $170.00. They took him back, took an x-ray, the doctor came in told him he needed his tooth removed, and also told him he needed to floss more and then...... told him that he was going to refer him to another Dentist! What the Heck!?!? Why did we even go there, to pay a 117.00 and get a lecture?? My husband was so mad that when he checked out they asked him if he wanted a free t-shirt, he said Hell ya , he wanted something to show for the $117.00 he just paid. He told me that was the most expensive t-shirt he had ever paid!! Most people just don't have $117.00 to just throw away. We feel like we were mislead, and definitely didn't get our money's worth and to top it off my husband is still in pain. Wasted trip, wasted time, and wasted money.

When I moved here from California, I looked around for a good dentist. I bounced from one Corporate franchise to another until I decided to look more 'local.' That's when I found Gallop and I've been so pleased with their service. They actually remember my name and face. And I always get the same service with a smile. Really please with them.
