Ideal Dental Midway Crossing

I've waited a while to write this, just to be sure that everything associated with my visits remained positive in the long run...

My experience with this office began with waking up one morning and discovering that half of a back molar had split off down to just above the gumline (and I had swallowed the fragment in my sleep).

I hadn't been to a dentist in a number of years so I needed to find a provider who accepted my insurance ASAP. Ideal Dental and Dr. Hoang worked me in very quickly and I had my temporary done in less than two days. My permanent crown came in a week and a half later and all is still good two months later. Staff was courteous and professional, I had none of the admin issues mentioned in other reviews. Will be back in a year for my checkup!

Book online for an appointment…website kept having tech difficulties so I just called and the time I chose that was given to me by selecting new patient and insurance I cant have then it should not be an option. First impression was not the best

I've seen a number of other reviews sharing how this dental office scammed their patients out of money, and I have to share a similar story. While Dr. Hoang is a good dentist, the practice has lots of miscommunication and will gladly cost their patients hundreds of dollars for their mistakes. They offer free teeth whitening, which I wanted to take advantage of, and I was assured by the receptionist that I will not be charged for my teeth whitening, as it is covered by my insurance. I came in a couple days later for my appointment, and was asked to sign a consent with no discussion for what the process would be like, quickly being ushered to start my session, leaving me no time to ask questions. After I was done with my session, the receptionist said I was good to go but called me 20 minutes later threatening to call collections for not paying for my session. I quickly came back and asked for a clarification why I was being charged $300 for something I was assured would be covered by my insurance, because I would not have opted for this if I had to pay such a hefty fee. I was told that the original receptionist made a mistake and that it would actually cost me money, which I would not have consented to. They hid information and acted in a predatory manner to charge me for a process I never would have agreed to if I had they had done the medically ethical thing and explained the process to me. Do not go to this place if you don't want hidden fees and a lack of communication. These people are scammers.

I hadn't been to the dentist in several years (shame on me!). I called and Pedro answered the phone. He was very friendly and got me set up for a same week appointment! I sadly cannot remember the name of the very nice woman who cleaned my teeth, but she had a gentle touch which I greatly appreciated. Very nice office, you can tell they clean and sanitize regularly. All the staff was polite and welcoming. They also lay out the cost breakdown clearly so you know exactly what you're in for. Definitely recommend!

My experience was great! From the front desk staff, to the tech and dental hygienist, and doctor. I was greeted with a warm welcome and the office manager was very pleasant in assisting me with my finances and breaking things down for me. The tech was very nice and the dental hygienist was the SWEETEST! Esther really took her time and was very informative. Doctor Chahine was also very sweet and took her time with me, even when I had an anxiety attack she was very patient and checked on me throughout my visit. As much as this could have been a horrible experience, the staff made my visit so much smoother and did all they needed to do to make me very comfortable. Very happy with my experience and I definitely recommend this location!

This is easily the best dental experience I've ever had. The (woman-run) branch did X-Rays, Cleaning, Exam and even FILLED A CAVITY in less than 90 minutes. They were swift with the insurance and billing, and gave me all the info so I could make the best decision. They were so efficient and kind. I will go there forever!! My daughter had an appointment on the same day, and they were just wonderful with her. She's 3, so this was a big deal. Love Ideal Dental on Midway! Thanks Dr. James and staff!

The staff at Midway Crossing Dental was very pleasant and professional. They made me feel welcome, like I was one of their own, and I'm on the second day after having a tooth pulled and there is next to no pain. They are very knowledgeable about their profession and am going back for all my dental needs. I would recommend them to anyone who needs dental work done without hesitation. Good job.

*Update on my over priced crowns. One of them broke apart, so I've had to come back to this office and get my teeth fixed... again. Got a temporary one from the hygienist that came off two days afterwards. Had to go back again, this time the hygienist was cleaning my teeth whilst digging her thumb nail, which was too long for this type of work, into my upper gums/lip. She said sorry, I know you're not numb. Meaning, for her it's okay for her thumb nail to poke customers when their numb. It's just so unprofessional and disgusting. I left mad, again!

Corporate places like this are the reason people drive to Mexico to get their dental work done. I would have never gone here, but the new dental coverage my company switched to, listed this place as Midway Crossing Dental. I only realized it was Ideal when I drove up to the door. Turns out I'm spending $300 more than I would have at my old dentist because of ADD ON charges. I had to wait almost 30 minutes to get in a chair. Also, found out that they can't keep dentist's. The one I saw had only been there a month. After I got home, I started reading some of the comments... it's funny how many people said they where told that they had 3 cavities. I was also told I had 3 cavities. Needless to say, I won't be coming back to this place. Or any other ideal dentist office. Dental work is expensive as it is... Without having to pay for the ceo's bonus check.

I visited Midway Crossing for the first time yesterday and I have never felt so at ease and comfortable at a dental office before. The staff is so kind and gentle, it immediately reassured me and made me feel confident in their work. I had a deep cleaning and my teeth whitened and I'm so happy with the results. I highly recommend visiting this dental office.
