Ideal Dental Midway Crossing

Great first impression: clean, professional, transparent, and friendly. The entire staff was impressive, they were upfront with cost estimates for recommended services, and I left thinking that was one of the better experiences I have had at a dental appointment.

Honestly, this place is amazing. I am sort of a perfectionist when it comes to my teeth and thanks to Dr. Herman and the ladies at Midway Crossing Dental, they have never looked better. I was a little nervous about pricing because anything medical can get so expensive but they are so easy going and will go out of their way to find savings for you. All in all it was a fantastic experience. Thank you!

Very nice over the phone and in person, very family friendly! I was surprised on how much it cost me to get my dental work done. I was expecting it to be outragous (as most dentist are) but it wasn't. They we're very concerned about the health of my mouth, and we're willing to help. They're definatly worth the trip, I highly recommend them:)

This is an awesome dentist office. Staff is great and Dr. Minor is the best. Just had 2 crowns done and Dr. Minor and her assistant did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Midway Crossing.

From my entrance to finish was awesome! I was very surprise how professional this office is, unlike any other dental office I ever been to, the hygienist Amy was very meticulous, she made the process seemingly non existent and got me out off there quickly to the rest of my day, absolutely amazing!

I was recently looking for a nearby place to get my basic cleaning. I am so glad I tried Midway Crossing! The staff and doctors were very friendly. I was in and out within a reasonable amount of time. I am very pleased with the high level of service they provided and plan to keep going back!

Just had a cavity filled today. Dr Hernandez and Mary were great. Dr Hernandez was constantly checking to see if I was ok. Great chair side manner.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and educated about my procedures. I will defiantly be returning for all my dental needs.

I've had two experiences, both bad. The most recent one required dental surgery reccomended by midway. I took the train out to Corinth, where the surgeon was, and as he was putting me under he remarked that he was going to take all four wisdom teeth out. I only have two - the first two were removed twenty years ago. He showed me the xray and confirmed I had four. We then found out that midway sent an xray for another person or some very very old one of mine on file. They xrayed me again and found that yes, midway sent the wrong xray. Dangerous.

Then, I remarked that $1400 was steep for me but oh well. He said "why are you paying $1400? We charge $1500 to get four wisdom teeth out, you are only getting two wisdom teeth out." again - overcharged. A LOT. I feel duped.

That was my second experience. My first visit I paid $400 for a mouthguard. It took 11 weeks to come in. The first 5 weeks I called every week - they finally told me that they would call me when it came in. 6 weeks later I gave up and called again and they told me it came in five weeks ago. Nobody told me, nobody called and they knew I suffered from extreme clenching at night. They also said that if it ever got damaged that they'd replace it for free. When I tried to replace it, they said I didn't come in for a cleaning so I was ineligible now. No replacements, which was how they sold me on it in the first place.

Needless to say, I decided not to say anything of this first visit because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. The main doctor seems compassionate and kind, but I feel like they bait and switched me on pricing the second time, the free replacement mouthguard the first time, and sending in the wrong xrays to the point where I almost get incorrect surgery finally pushed me over the edge.

I see a lot of people have had great experiences - I'd imagine I am the aberration but 2 out of 2 times feeling tricked is enough for me. Also - I never, ever, ever write bad reviews. Is what it is. :/ no disrespect to people who adore them, but I feel like they are out to make as much money as possible at the expense of your immediate emergency.
