For my first post COVID 19 lock-down dentist visit I had no concerns. Communication and expectations were clear and I felt comfortable throughout my visit. There are some new pieces of equipment that are being used, but that is expected and welcomed. My hygienist (Michelle) was friendly, professional and efficient in my exam and got me on my way on schedule.

Stay away. Our family of four had used this practice for about 5 years - Dr. Beadle, who has retired, was the best. The practice has degraded substantially since he left, with far more concern for billing than care: last week I was in a chair awaiting extraction due to an infection, gas was being administered and the junior Dentist was preparing me for work when the office manager walked in and turned off the gas stating no work would proceed until the entire balance was paid (which was less than a thousand dollars). We have been patients for years with no issues of avoiding payment, and the outstanding balance had already been discussed and terms settled upon. The mailman literally delivered our check while LFM was withholding treatment, and only then did they begin work. Truly despicable, abhorrent behavior was displayed, worst experience I've ever had with any kind of medical care - I'd discourage anyone from patronizing them.

Dr. Slaughter had me in and out in less than an hour. With the numbing agent and nitrous oxide, I didn’t feel a thing. I highly recommend Lakewood Family Dental.
