Terrible customer service and way too expensive! We went in for a routine 6 month cleaning. I gave them my insurance ahead of time to ensure that we were considered in network. Come to find out 6 months later that we were not. Not only are they demanding I pay over $600 for a routine cleaning, but they were not willing to even work with me to reduce the amount. Why did they not look to see if my insurance was in network ahead of time when I made the appointment well in advance and gave them my insurance? They did not even bother to call me even after they learned the insurance would not cover it 100%. All I got was a letter in the mail two months later. Then two months later another letter. I pleaded with them asking why they didn't call me or even let me know ahead of time when I made the appointment. A few weeks later they send me another letter stating they would not work with me and I had to pay. Honestly, I have never been dealt with so badly. Stay clear of them!

Dr Castro’s office staff assured me that they worked with my insurance carrier, but they don’t. I was stuck with the entire cost of a crown. A crown that should have been placed in one visit but required two. A disappointing experience, to say the least.
