Dr. Darancou is the greatest! I had a lot of teeth problems from an incompetent dentist I'd been seeing in New York, but Dr. Darancou fixed everything. He's got a clean, inviting office space run by professional and courteous staff--this is the dentist you want to see.

First time coming here and had a great experience overall. Very clean and welcoming environment. The doctor was very kind and explained everything thoroughly. Erika, my dental hygienist, was outstanding. Zach was very efficient with my x-rays. Highly recommend this clinic!

Just had my first visit and cleaning at this office and it was wonderful! Julie, greeted me very kindly and helped with my paperwork and dental insurance. April, is a terrific dental hygienist. She did a thorough job with my cleaning and x-rays. Glad to have found a new dental office 🦷🪥

I love this office! Dr. Darancou has worked on so many of my dental issues and is very kind and efficient at explaining every procedure. This is my forever dentist! Oh and April is the sweetest!!

Dr. Darancou and his staff are hands down simply the best! Personally, I was one of those individuals that cringed knowing I had a dentist appointment due to bad experiences, but not anymore. Dr. Darancou has a tremendous soft hand and you hardly feel a thing.
Furthermore, my child is only 9 and when visiting the dentist, myself and another adult would have to hold her down. She would yell, squirm, kick and not open her mouth with other dentist. With Dr. Darancou it’s night and day. My child only holds my hand lol and stays still. On top of that Dr. Darancou will take his time to make sure he is not hurting the child and explains the process.
The front desk lady (I keep forgetting her name, sorry) is AA-mazing!!!
Please look no further! This dentist office is truly the best El Paso has to offer!

I was sad when my longtime Dentist retired but very happy to have found Dr. Darancou. I also had to search for someone that accepts my insurance coverage; win again plus an especially
helpful and pleasant staff....a perfect 'fit' just like my new crown.

Unfortunately i am forced to give a low review to this business. Ive made an appointment for evaluation and hygienist insisted on a full set of xrays and a cat scan. That's a lot of radiation through my head but i was promised that i would be given a copy for my own records. I finally agreed. After the evaluation i asked the receptionist to send them over. What i got was a screen grab(the same one you make with windows snipping tool!). All these xrays in tiny resolution, like thumbnails. Completely useless if i ever have to submit them to another dentist. When asked i was told that this is the best they can get out of their equipment and when i pressed them further i was told they'll research the issue further. That was the last i heard of them. Seems disorganized and not available to respond to customer issues. I'll be entrusting my dental health to someone else going forward.

My experience with Dr. Darancou was exceptionally terrible. In 2018 I went in because I was experiencing sudden dental pain, but it wasn't localized so I didn't know what the problem was. He prescribed a root canal in a tooth that wasn't bothering me at all and wasn't infected. At the last minute, he ended up deciding I needed a root canal in a different tooth. I trusted him because he was "nice" and I was so desperate for the pain to stop. Unfortunately the root canal caused more problems than it solved, and when I returned due to pain that was now shooting up from the nerve above that tooth to my eye, he told me it would heal eventually. On top of that, he recommended a root canal on yet ANOTHER tooth that was not bothering me and was not infected. During the procedure I heard a loud snap and felt immediate pain. I asked him "was I supposed to feel that" and he answered that it was ok, the anesthesia was just wearing off but that he was almost done. But actually he was unable to complete the procedure. He referred me to an endodontist, but since it was near the close of the year appointments were unavailable for 3 to 4 weeks out! It was such a miserable situation and I was on my own to get it figured out. Luckily another endodontist had empathy for my situation and got me in fairly quickly and was in disbelief over the mess that had been made. A false canal had been created with the drilling, the flesh on my gums was a wreck and had to be meshed over and my facial pain symptoms indicated that a nerve had been hit. I cannot begin to describe the amount of pain that Darancou's root canals and the nerve damage caused. For 2 years I was in sooo much pain and distress, and my emotions were shot. I couldn't chew normally for a year and was resigned to eating mostly soup and soft foods, and even to this day I cannot eat steak, nuts, gum or things of that nature, and sometimes the pain from both those root canals cycles through. My work and family life suffered, as I was so sad from the pain that I didn't want to be around anyone and even talking hurt my face. And what did I discover the actual problem was to begin with? I was clenching my jaw in my sleep. Plain and simple. An easy $500 fix with a custom made night guard. But instead I dished out thousands and thousands of dollars for years full of depression and pain. Even the filling I got from Darancou ended up falling out and having to be replaced a few years later. This experience haunts me to this day, which is a shame because I never had anxiety or was fearful of dentists prior to this experience.
