Archstone Dental & Orthodontics Beach

I have been to a few dentists in DFW over the last several years and have had a hard time finding one that I could trust and that wasn’t trying to scam me by telling me I need thousands of dollars worth of dental work. I have finally found a great dentist! Dr. Mathew explained everything to me very thoroughly, was so friendly and inviting. The office staff and assistants were very kind as well. Very pleased with my experience!

I can’t express how much I love Dr. Mathew and her staff. They are taking care of 3 generations of my family. My mother, me and my husband, and our 3 adult children. I love they she does her own cleaning and we can chat so easily about our families. I hope to have her taking great care of our family until my future daughter in law becomes a dentist and I want her to learn from the best!

Amazing! I took my daughter in for some work and she was incredibly nervous, they were able to calm her down and work quickly. She left with no pain and a love for the dentist. Thank you everyone for the wonderful work you do.

They were very friendly and accommodating to the need of our Military family for getting the things done that we need for an upcoming move. Very professional and talk me through everything that they were doing. Great dentist!!

I first came to Archstone Dental & Orthodontics - Beach location for a cleaning. The cleaning went fine, they told me that I have a tooth that needs to be pulled. This was not a surprise as my previous dentist told me the same thing (I really liked my previous dentist but I had to move making continuing to see them too long of a drive).
Archstone Dental told me they use an outside dentist for pulling wisdom teeth. The day of the appointment came which was for the afternoon and the dentist office called to say that his schedule was clear and wanted to know if I could come in early. I couldn’t as I had to work and said that I wanted to stick with original appointment time.
When I arrived the dentist seemed very impatient. He gave me a shot of anesthesia and waited like 10 seconds before starting to pull the tooth; no were near enough time for the anesthesia to take affect. I started screaming that it was painful but he refused to stop, so I started banging on the chair with my hands and feet trying even harder to get his attention and make him stop. He refused to stop, instead he leans down on me trying to get me to stop moving. He said he was having trouble getting to tooth out so again instead of waiting for the anesthesia to take affect or giving more anesthesia he get a hammer to bang on the tooth while leaning on my body to restrain me. THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORSE DENTAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I have had a tooth removed before and never had such an intense horrific experience like this.
It felt like torture, I had nightmares for months. One of the worst experiences of my life. My mouth was swollen and I couldn’t speak for days.
You would think that that was end of it but nope, the dentist prescribed a mouthwash to use afterwards. Two 16oz bottles which would list for months. All of my teeth turned BLACK. After this extremely horrific experience I went back to my old favorite dentist for a checkup to figure out what all damages had been done by this dentist an was told that the mouthwash was suppose to be just a very small amount to use for a few days because it will cause the teeth discoloration if used long term.
The dentist used by Archstone Dental was COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT.

Archstone Dental is always a good experience, especially for a dentist. Very friendly and they only recommend truly necessary work. They do not find ‘phantom’ cavities like other places I’ve been to. I trust this dentist for me and my family.

Dr. Matthews is profession, thorough, and very personable. I am always seen in a timely manner and have all my questions answered during each visit.

Very friendly & informative staff! My first visit ( new patient) they made me feel at home!
