Great Staff and office. I had been a patient of Dr. Shockley's for years before he sold the practice to The Dental Edge and through the transition of several dentists, the service never suffered. Dr. Kelley stepped into the role ultimately and has been amazing at all of the things since.

Beware !! if they tell you your insurance will cover treatment plan.. don't trust them.. Please call your insurance and make sure by YOUR SELF that your insurance will cover! office manager their knows very well that your insurance won't cover but she just lie to put you in it and later will send you bills or will make you pay treatment full cost by a collector!! They are using a crooked ways to implicate customers! so be carful..

RUNAWAY! Do not under any circumstances get dental work here. The lack of professionalism by the office staff was awful! Especially the billing manager. If I could give this place 0 stars I would, but 1 star will suffice since I genuinely liked the dentist there.
I rarely write negative reviews, but this matter has become unacceptable. Because I and my wife are so disappointed with this place for a big reason!
Their billing manager at the front office worsened the entire experience!!! she wasn't honest at all. She told my wife stories about how much her insurance still has money for the year and she must use it, or she will lose it. The billing manager was trying hard to convince my wife to do a normal tooth filling and one crown for $1437, which was at the end of the year, my wife told her she can't do this filling & crown because the insurance hasn't enough budget, and she can do it maybe at the beginning of the new year when she is sure her insurance has a new enough fund for the whole new year to cover that filling & crown. But that billing manager insisted to have my wife do that filling & crown, she told my wife that she called her insurance company (Cigna) and they confirmed to her that my wife insurance card still has enough remaining money to do the filling & crown in November, she told my wife that all that she needs to pay only $450 and the insurance will cover the rest which was $987.
So, my wife was a victim to their dishonest billing manager, my wife paid the $450 to her and she did the filling and crown. What happened next is, after a couple of months, the billing manager starts sending us bills with a letter asking us to pay to their office the $987 because our insurance did not pay for not having enough budget to cover the service. So, my wife was like WHAT!!!!!
I want to say here that their billing manager service skills are "lacking" at best: lacks professionalism, lacks accountability on behalf of the company, and lacks compassion. She transferred the $987 to a collection agency. So we are now a scam victims of this dentist's office. living in a real farce because of who!!

I have been a patient of this Dentist's Office for almost 20 years. I was a little leery when Dr. Shockley retired and handed over the keys, but Dr. Conner and his staff are just as wonderful! Shelby performed my latest cleaning and she is top-notch, absolutely ACES!!

Today was my first appointment at The Dental Edge of Houston and I was extremely impressed. Laura, the hygenist, did an excellent job. My teeth feel so clean! I found Dr. Kelley to be extremely personable, and thorough. See you guys in 6 months!

The doctors inside are great, very light touch and very nice. Bit I think you should do something with the front desk personnel as they are the first and last people we interface with at the office. A simple request of a bill print out he comes an issue when the oldernlady raises her voice when asked to have it printed. We had an issue on record keeping hence I asked for my own copy. This was not taken well. We are customers regardless of who pays the bill, insurance or us, respect and politeness is requested and required. Too bad we don't have a choice.

I experienced a professional staff, courteous and punctual. Dr Kelly was quite skilled and his procedural support team was very good.

BEWARE, they are not following basic COVID prevention and protection procedures. Staff are not requiring or even asking patients to wear masks while sitting in the very small waiting room. This is directly in violation of Gov Abbott's executive order that authorizes the opening of non-emergency dental care, the regulations of the Texas Dept of HHS, the requirements and guidelines of the Texas Board of Dental Examiners, the guidelines for reopening from the Texas Dental Association, and CDC guidelines for Dental practices.
