Shipp Family Dentistry

New patient to Shipp Family Dentistry and I couldn't be happier with my initial visit experience. The office is immaculately clean and inviting. The lobby staff are friendly and authentically pleasant. They were very helpful with navigating me for all of the required paperwork, etc. The dental hygienist was equally friendly, professional and thorough. Dr. Shipp was amazing as well! The equipment they utilize is cutting edge - 3D scans, camera shots of your teeth/gums... all impressive stuff. I am looking forward to a long term relationship with the folks at Shipp.

Y’all, this is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been too. I have seen and broken up with many dentists, all before actually getting treatments because I never felt any took my dental anxiety seriously. Dr. Shipp and her entire staff have been so kind, professional and patient with me. Dr. Shipp takes the time to explain everything with you and it’s obvious she takes great pride in her practice. They went over my options, laid out my treatment plan and the front office staff has been immensely helpful figuring out insurance and how to get my costs down. The hygienists and other staff were so kind when I had a little moment of panic and wasn’t my best self… I can’t say enough good things.

We are new to the area having moved from Virginia and seeing same dentist over 5 years. I found Dr Shipp online and made the appointment. She analyzed and fixed it quickly and really no pain at all for me. She was funny and her staff are great too! Highly recommend. 😊

Dr. Shipp has been my dentist since about 2017 and she is the best! The whole office staff from the administrators to the surgical assistants are all amazing, so helpful & friendly! I just had a little tooth emergency & they got me in right away to get it fixed! I’m so thankful for them! 🦷

Dr. Shipp and team are fantastic. They take the time to get to know you, explain what they are doing, and make thoughtful recommendations on how to best care for your teeth. Very friendly and professional staff!

I usually don’t ever feel comfortable at my dental appointments(other dentistry’s) however I really enjoyed my visit today I was very comfortable. Everyone was really nice, and very professional! I was informed of everything that was going on which I really appreciate as well. (:

This is my favorite dental office BY FAR - Dr. Shipp and her staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The office recommended a night guard, which I have been using, and it's amazing. I didn't realize how much clenching and grinding of my teeth I was doing until I wore my night guard. I can't sleep without it now and I wish that I had done this a long time ago! Thank you!

I have not spoken to the dentist since Covid. Her office said that she will look at my films, records, etc at some point from my two previous appointments in Feb 2023 and a few months before but no calls. The staff tells me they are understaffed because of Covid. I thought I could assume my teeth were okay because she never contacted me. Then my tooth broke in half. I called her office but it was completely shut down for spring break. I had to seek help elsewhere. I was told by the new dentist and the oral surgeon that the tooth had been dead for a long time. Anyway, I would not recommend this dentist because she is physically not there for your appointment, has no back up dentist when she leaves on vacation, her staff gets sick often or that’s what they tell me when they can’t book an appointment and my tooth was dead for a long time. I’m happy about my decision to move on. I am trying to get all my records sent to my new dentist. Let’s see how long that takes.

I was overcharged for the second visit in a row. The EOB from the dental insurance shows a lower amount than the amount charged at time of service. This is apparently a failure to contact the insurance company in advance of service provision. The dentist is slow to process refunds, which shows a lax attitude for customer service.

I really could not have had a better experience at Shipp Family Dentistry. The result of this experience actually had me go get dental insurance and specifically one that Shipp Family accepts. "I have to see Kendall" I thought!

I'm relatively new to the area (my family has been here 6 years and myself about one) and I've shopped dentist offices for a couple months. Then one day I decided to try Shipp Family Dentistry. It just felt right! And it was :) I even told my family they've got to switch dentists.

I went in for a cleaning, X-rays, and an assessment. Even though it was the first time I have EVER experienced anxiety going to the dentist (this caught me super off guard as I have gone to the dentist every year since my youth and never had these feelings come up) the ladies up front and the team in the back really held me in a space of safety. I observed a lot of subconscious anxiety within myself about being at the dentist and everyone was so supportive. I felt seen. I felt safe. It's rare I feel anxiety like this... and I was a little embarrassed, for some reason... but the love, delicacy, consideration and professionalism I experienced there was everything for me. It's also spotless.

I booked another appointment with them for later on and I very much so look forward to working with this purely amazing team! I trust Shipp Family Dentistry and encourage you to consider them for your health.
