We love this office!!! We have been patients of Dr. Snuggs for over 15 years and have always received the best care. We feel at home from the moment we walk in the door until we leave. The front staff, dental assistants, hygienists, and of course the dentists are fantastic! We are grateful for such a wonderful place to go to where the entire staff genuinely cares about us! Update: Dr. Lawson personally reached out to me to make sure my transition to another dentist went smoothly. He also made sure I was able to get my X-Rays from Lakeridge Dental and provide those to my new dentist. He reached out again a couple months later to make sure everything has been going well for me since then.

Original Review: My very first visit, I waited nearly an hour in the lobby before they called me back. People who walked in after me were called back before me. Echoing what others have said, they claimed I needed 14 fillings without any explanation, which seemed extremely high considering I've only had a couple in my entire life up to this point. They also took X-Rays, and I asked if they were covered by my insurance, and they said "yes." Turns out, they weren't completely covered and I got a bill in the mail.

On my second visit, the first of four schedule for my 14 fillings, I arrived at 7:26 a.m. for a 7:30 appointment. Checked in, and was called back at 7:36. So far so good. She took my blood pressure and said the doctor would be with me shortly. Dr. Lawson came by at 7:44 and administered the Q-tip of numbing agent, and then a shot in my gum. He then said "we're going to let that sit in, and then I'll be back in a bit to give you a second round of shots." I've never had to get a second round of shots. Now I know why they do two rounds. After waiting 45 minutes for the doctor to return, the shot had already begun to wear off. I was regaining feeling in my cheek that was completely numb just a few minutes after the shot was administered. With no idea of when the doctor was going to come back and begin, I walked out at 8:30 on the dot, one hour after my scheduled appointment. They didn't even call me to see what was wrong until 8:49. For all I know, that's when they first noticed I was gone, which was more than one hour after I received my shot. Even more frustrating, the person on the phone merely asked "what happened?" I explained what's in this review about having to wait too long and how I hated waiting that long, yet she never said the word "sorry." It was just "OK." Terrible customer service.

Also echoing what other reviewers have said, while the staff didn't talk about anything while working on me (because they didn't do any work on me), I could hear them chatting away while working over the patient next to me.

I cannot express how infuriated I am with their complete lack of respect for my time. I gave them two chances, and they blew it both times. I'm searching for a new dentist now.

Dr.Snuggs treated my younger brother who hasn’t smiled in several years, he was always very self conscious of his smile and would cover his mouth when he laughed and never smiled in pictures. With his temporary alone his confidence was boosted and he started smiling in pictures and you could see a complete change in him. Fast forward to two weeks and getting the permanents his smile is flawless and looks very natural. I 10/10 recommend all 3 doctors at Lakeridge. Thank y’all for being so amazing at what y’all do and taking care of my family.

Dr. Benjamin Lawson provides excellent services to me and my family. Besides his kindness, willing to listen to patient concerns, he is also very talented. I moved to Lubbock a couple years ago and was skeptical going to a local dentist, as I had bad experiences with other dentists before. Fortunately, I met Dr. Lawson with cavities treatments, front teeth cosmetic concerns, and orthodontic concerns. Dr. Lawson addressed all my concerns and provided a treatment to recover my smiles again. From being nervous sitting on the dental chair to being excited seeing the result of each visit, I realized how wonderful and talented Dr. Lawson was. I recommended Dr. Lawson to my mom, dad and friends. Dr. Lawson is a highly recommended dentist. Thank you.

From the minute I became a patient the staff and doctors did a great job of putting me at ease and explaining what to expect. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the doctor took the time to make sure all my questions are answered. I would recommend Lakeridge Dental to anyone looking for a good dental experience.

My husband and I have been patients at this Dental clinic for many years. we have never had a mishap here. We have found everyone to be professional and capable. I have had a number of root canals and crowns here and if they have felt they needed to refer me for something that has been done too. They accept my Delta Dental insurance as well so I give them a 5 star.

Everyone from the front desk personnel to the hygienist and dentist were warm, friendly and professional. I have never had a bad experience regardless of which team members tended to my dental needs. Thank you for caring!

I was referred by my sister to Lakeridge, and wow! I am beyond pleased with the level of knowledge and care of the Dentists, hygienist, techs and office staff. I had multiple procedures and was so comfortable (no anxiety) because of how they make you feel. I definitely suggest that if you give Lakeridge a try. You won't regret it.

I have been to this location three times now, and every experience has been wonderful. I had been putting off dental work because of a previous bad experience, but Dr. Snuggs did an absolutely amazing job on my crown and double filling (taking out an old metal filling and also filling a side cavity on the same tooth). I am amazed that I don’t feel sore for weeks or months after procedures like I did with my last dentist. Dr. Snuggs not only knows what he’s doing to a T, but he’s kind, understanding, and funny - to put your anxieties at ease! All of the staff has been so incredible too. I can’t recommend these folks enough. ❤️

This is the best Dentist in Lubbock! The staff is EXTREMELY friendly. I’ve been to a lot of dentist and the intentionality of the Lakeridge staff is unmatched. Everyone does their job with excellence. I recommend everyone to Lakeridge.
