Dr. Bell and his staff are great people! Very friendly, efficient, and professional people. I got four implants in my lower jaw, for my lower dentures. They work reasonably well. I can chew things I couldn't have chewed before the implants. But, I wasn't prepared for being without dentures for over eight months. Dr. Clay over compensated the bone augmentation required, and Dr. Bell was not able to fit my denture over the implants, leaving me toothless for over eight months. When they finally fit my new dentures, I had months and months of discomfort with the lower denture that required many visits for adjustments. And I found that my upper dentures, which I had never had trouble wearing, was now also painful to wear. My upper gum has eroded and receded more than ever, and I must use denture paste daily to prevent sores and inflammation. I am not pleased with the results. The huge expense of having implants done just adds to the misery. I paid all that money and I am worse off now than I was before the implants. I'm devastated that it is easier to stay home with my dentures out that it is to deal with the pain and discomfort they cause. Very devastated patient.
