They were awesome! Needed a tooth pulled and had lots of issues at other dentists, but they got it removed and I was in and out of there in less than an hr. Great people! Great Doctor! Best dentist appointment I've ever had.

The Dentists here are very experienced and kind. The faculty is an old local home with an added office feel. I love that small town comfort and can’t stand the “cattle processing” treatment you’d receive in the city. The staff here is great.

Dr. Jacobs made me feel comfortable and calm when I have been terrified of dentists all these years. Staff was very professional and polite. I’m thankful that this dentist is located on Poteet. Scheduling was quick and the appointment didn’t take long at all. I recommend anyone seeking a good dentist to try Southern Smiles!

Have only been coming here for a little over 2 years and it always seems so friendly and welcoming. Mr jacobs is always smiling and cracking jokes makes you feel right at home. The dental assistants are always so cheery and nice. Very great small business and I hope they continue to do great work. Thank you guys so much!

This dentist, Dr. Garcia was AMAZING! It was like 7 years ago. You can check your records. I was absolutely thrilled with the service I received. In fact, my wife who was up in Utah at home (I was working in the oilfields) needed work done. I had her fly down, have her work done, also a new crown (and visit her hubby!). The BEST dentist out of maybe 15 I've been to (I'm old). I was living in Poteet and just happen to stumble upon him. Office staff was FANTASTIC TOO! Sorry so late posting a review. Right now I'm needing some dental work done and would LOVE to have Dr. Garcia do it. But, I'm living too far away. He is extremely personable and caring. So grateful I found him. He probably won't remember me. But I remember him!

Horrible place, they want to find any excuse to pull your wisdom teeth out for no reason. Was lied to about receiving phone calls to confirm my appointment, and was accused of canceling appointments I've never heard of or ever made to begin with.

After a bit of a rocky start, my 7 year old son was taken care of completely.
My son needed a molar pulled and long story short, he was seen initially by another dentist who was out of network and got antibiotics.
When the Dr here at Southern Smiles saw him, he first said that we needed to see their children's dentist because he hasn't done a spacer in 30 years.
We had communicated to the person who took the appt, that my son was seen by another dentist initially, where he was seen, etc. Why would you take an appt for a 7 year old if you can't take care of his needs?! After some conversation, the Dentist worked through what he needed to do, got the insurance verified for the procedure, and they went ahead and took care of my son.
I'm glad we were able to work out everything. They were patient with my son, and the staff are really nice.
