2 Jan 2023 - This Dental Clinic is still VERY good in my opinion, so they will definitely continue to get our business for the foreseeable future. I really like the fact that they are not high pressure salespersons who try everything they can think of to talk you into getting stuff done that you really don't need or want. For example, they offered me fluoride today (which has been proven to be a neurotoxin) and I said no thanks, and she said OK. Also I had a tooth that a chunk of it broke off on me a while back. It doesn't even hurt me at all and I have gotten so used to it that I almost forgot about it. Today, they offered me a Crown for it again, and they said that I should get one sooner rather than later bcuz there's a chance that more of it could break off down underneath the gumline, and it's more susceptible to getting a cavity in the inner portion of my tooth which is exposed, and is much closer to the roots, so I could end up needing a root canal too. They told me that they can submit it to my insurance company so they will provide me with an estimate of how much it will cost me, which I agreed to, but for now I said no thank you, and they didn't keep pressuring me to get it done.

So much better here than the other dentist I used to go to at Potranco and Ellison. Now I just need to get my wife to make the switch as well.

Used to go years and years ago, then my FAVE Dentist left. Tried coming back at one point and didn't have the best experience with one of the dentists they had at the time (this was a few years ago) Decided to give it 1 more try because I hate searching for new dentists. I liked Dentist Martinez so much I have scheduled my kids to start coming as well (since their pediatric dentist retired last year). Soooo glad I don't have to find another dental place to go.

Dr. Nelson has superb bedside manner, explains issues succinctly, and resolves them expeditiously.
Unfortunately, the billing is completely opposite. They kept $300 they were supposed to have paid me for over 18 months. The 2nd time I requested the refund, and insisted, she attempt to further delay reimbursement until insurance cut them a check for the current appointment. Miraculously, she was able to do some digging and suddenly discovered charges from the previous year that she claime I was never billed for.
Later, while disputing/requesting an invoice for a $35 unexplained charge, they sneakily added that amount at the front counter to a copay I was making without telling me.
I requested invoices for the past two years in writing, and I never received them.

I have been with this office pretty much since it was built. I am terrified of dentists, but since I’ve been coming here my fear has subsided and I can make it through each visit. The staff is so patient and keep me informed every step of the way. Dr. Nelson is truly amazing but so are the other doctors, they are all so informative, you can tell they’re not there just to make money off of you, they are there for you. I will never switch again even if my insurance changes, it’s worth every penny to come here!

Today I had my teeth cleaned and saw Donna and as always had top notch service. Also, saw Dr. Meza and had stellar service. Donna was my hygienist at another clinic prior to coming to WFD and I followed her here and as always provided the best care. Also, had great staff in the reception area. Thank you!
