Your Total Dental & Orthodontics - Temple

First visit there, and all the staff that I came in contact with were very friendly and personable. The front desk staff ladies were kind and helped get me scheduled and checked in. The dentist and dental assistant provided a friendly atmosphere, which made the visit comfortable. Everything pertaining to my care was explained so that I could understand my treatment plan, so I thought that was very helpful as well. I look forward to coming back for my future appointments.

Im deeply sad to say because my consultation went well, until I did not receive a follow up for over 2 months. I called for my daughter tooth extraction (referral from Dr. Lomboy Nov, consultation Dec) no call back until today. Jackie the person who called me was the most rude, talked over me and talked so fast that I dont think she even had time to think about her thought process or even reviewed my daughters chart. On top of that she provided the wrong Dr. name. I dont know if she knows who she works for (Bryan) or maybe its his middle name. Dr. Slighly name is Corey. I Surely hope that these calls are recorded. I am a scheduler for Hospitals in the U.S and Jackie would be considered an unprofessional staff member. Maybe she is having a bad day, or too much coffee but her behavior was very uncalled for. If the call was heard it would speak volume and self explanatory to what I just wrote and with detail. I called my regular dental office and they were just as shocked as I was when I told them what she supposedly thought. (lack of knowledge and listening skills) Jackie I hope your day gets better and review cases before assuming.

I have been several times now and everyone is very friendly and professional. They have all been very helpful and patient answering all my questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing anything done.

I found out filling in their paperwork that the office charges up to $175 for arriving 15 min late for an appointment but they were 30 minutes late seeing me, the office unapologetic even smarmy. I left after filling multiple papers with my personal information. One dentist that I never saw. Creepy

Temple Total dental is amazing!! I am a patient by way of VA. Total dental takes care of veterans with best care possible (if VA approves treatment plan). The entire staff is outstanding, professional, knowledgeable, go above and beyond. Thank you truly best dental treatment I've had

My husband was told that he had 6 cavities, which all required root canals and several "other" issues that totaled over $10K. He visited another dentist and was told he had 0 cavities. 1⭐️ because you can't do 0⭐️. Get a second opinion.

The reception staff was happy and kind. Jackie, Dr Slightly's assistant is the best I have come across in my 71 years. Soooo knowledgable and compassionate. I loved her energy and excitement for helping patients.

Great experience as usual! Everyone is very welcoming and the staff does a great job explaining the whole procedure and plan as it is done for you.

So I just came from a dentist where I had my entire mouth taken care of about 7 months ago. The last dentist was awesome and never tried to sell you things to anyone. It was a private dentist so it was nice. I recently moved to the area and tried Total Dental due to the good reviews. I had a back molar break so I made an appointment.

I got x-rays done and quoted a treatment plan of $5,500 and that's without the cleaning even placed on it! That's enough to make me sick to my stomach... I told them I only wanted to take care of the broken tooth. So I made an appointment to get that taken care of. Looking at other reviews, I notice other treatment plans were around the same amount. That is absolutely insane.

I had to make a separate appointment to get drilled and get a temporary crown put on. The dentist is very nice and I really like him a lot but he's only there for the first part of the day so I couldnt make an appointment for any later than 12pm. I then have to come back a third time to get the Crown put on.

So two days later(After I was drilled on), the tooth next to the the one I just had worked on broke and I wasnt even eating on that side of my mouth! Not sure what the odds of that is. I never had an issue with that tooth until I came to this office....

I then have to pay for an additional crown on a tooth that had broke that WASN'T even on my treatment plan right next to the tooth I just got drilled on! Coincidence huh?

So after I pay about $1000 out of pocket(after insurance) I needed to get a cleaning. Cleanings are completely covered with insurance right? Wrong! They want to do a special cleaning and is going to cost me more out of pocket.

So far this place is nickle and diming me and I cant afford it especially in these tough times. I never had experienced anything like this. The hygienist and dentists are very nice though. I may have to start looking for a different dental office after my cleaning. Not sure how they expect the average person to afford this

Edit: I went to Belton Family Dental and they said I DID NOT need a deep cleaning. They Lso said, I needed no Dental work done right now. These chain Dental places are an absolute joke!
