This review is not about my dentist, but the office staff. I called to schedule a cleaning, exam, and a crown I know I needed. The dentist did the exam and then I got a high pressure sales pitch. I was told I could not make payments in advance of the procedure (I wanted to make 3 monthly payments and then get the procedure). I was told could only make 3 payments, but they all had to be made within a month ( I could make 1 payment a week). She made me feel poor and bad about the whole situation; it was humiliating. When I repeatedly said that I literally could not afford to do that she then brushed me off and said ok then you can leave. I asked about the cleaning and was told they didn’t schedule one for me. She then said I could wait in the waiting room for 15 minutes and they would do it, but by that point I didn’t want to anymore. I will never return here even though the dentist was very competent and explained everything very clearly and thoroughly. I just got my cleaning and procedure done at another clinic where I had an amazing experience, and wasn’t humiliated or felt like I was buying a used car— much more professional.

We had a great experience at Rivers Edge Dental. All of the staff there were super friendly, competent, and helpful. The dental checkup and cleaning was great and we’ll be back for sure.
They were also very helpful with insurance questions.

The doctor is fabulous! He answers all the questions you have & takes time to make sure you're comfortable during procedures. He uses up to date technology that is quite impressive. WOW! AWESOME!!!!!
He gives you a warm scented cloth to wipe your face if water has inadvertently sprayed 💖
The staff is so friendly & will even joke around with you.
I'm so very glad I picked this dentist & his staff for my dental needs. They are even open on Saturdays so my dental needs don't interfere with work 💖

Such an amazing experience! I have bad experiences with previous dentists treating me poorly for having Cavities. Dr. Chang made me feel so comfortable and explained everything fully! The whole experience from my call to setting up my first appointment to now has been smooth and professional!

I've been going here for a while and won't be going anywhere else! It's a small office so you see the same people whenever you come and it really makes the experience a lot more personable. Going to the dentist isn't always the most fun but they really make the best of our it here ♥️

I've had a few fillings and a cleaning done at this clinic, and I couldn't ask for a better experience. The doctor and the assistant Juana are extremely patient, and make sure that you are comfortable with everything. It's perfect if you are afraid of the dentist! Haha! I've had a bad experience with a different clinic where I wasn't numb all the way before he tried to pull out my wisdom teeth. Doctor Chung put that into consideration and waited as long as I needed to, to make sure that I was comfortable. He's super good at giving the shots as well!! I hardly felt a thing on my upper gums, and then just a slight pinch on my lower gums. They have plans you can enroll in to make things more affordable. Dental care isn't cheap, but the plans they have definitely help! If you're looking for a good dentist, trust me. This is the place!!!

I recently switched to Rivers Edge Dental after having a change in my insurance. I was super nervous to go somewhere new especially since I needed quite a bit if dental work done. Reading other reviews I thought, 'there is no way a dentist's office gets all 5 star reviews'-- but now I know why. Let me tell you, I wish I had gone here a lot sooner! This dental office is hands down the best! The receptionist is always so friendly, the assistants make you very comfortable, and the doctor is quite thorough. He explained everything clearly and discussed his process as he went. I've had several appointments and each time there was little to no wait. The bonus is you get to watch netflix while they work! Seriously, I couldn't be more happy with the work and quality care I've recieved.

Super careful dentist, and really communicative of what my tooth had. He showed me the x-rays, and showed me a scope image. He then talked me through what I should do, doesn't push treatments, but treats what I have really well. The whole office is really friendly.

Such an AMAZING nice staff!! We have had to reschedule 3 times because of our busy schedules and they have been very accommodating. They are very thorough with their work and made sure that we left with all of our questions were answered. Juana up front is great and very helpful!!
