The staff at the West point location were very friendly & professional. On appt day it only a few minutes before I was in the exam area. Great so far! The x-ray equipment was comfortable enough, the tech was friendly & communicated well. The subsequent exam went as expected & was thorough. I was surprised by the lack of concern for a pre-cancerous lesion on my tongue, which was the main reason why I made an appointment in the first place. No referral for further treatment was make for it at that time, even though I told the dentist that my ENT Specialist had instucted me to see a dentist for it. I didn't get a my teeth cleaned (even though it was part of the introductory offer for new patients) as I was told I needed a deep cleaning instead.
The consultation after the exam felt more like a sales presentation, going over costs, payment plans & financing options.
I called the office back at a later time to request a referral for treatment for the pre-cancerous lesion & my chart info was forwarded without delay.
Overall it was a pleasant enough experience but the lack of concern for a potentially life altering health threat lacked the attention that I felt one should display in a professional setting.
